On November 27th my area was hit with golf. ball size hail. On November the 28th. I contacted my agent to open a claim. It took about 2 weeks for a 3rd party adjuster **** Claims to come out. The adjuster's name was ***. The son-in-law of the ******************* the owns of **** Claims. He spent roughly 20 minutes at my residence. Only looking at 1 side of my house. Not one time looking at my roofs. A few days later. I contacted ***** the owner of the 3rd party adjuster company. Telling him I want my roof looked at. He informed me that they don't look at roofs and he would have to get approval from Farmer's Fire Insurance to get approval for another 3rd party adjusting company to look at my roof. I never received a claim number from Farmer's Fire Insurance. Which I thought was kind of weird. In the past when I had a claim. The 1st thing they give you is a claim number. I contacted my agent and they got it for me. A week or so went by. I never heard back from *****. So I reached out to him. He told me it was approved and someone from ******* would be out to inspect my roof. I called ***** to get an update. That nothing was scheduled yet. After complaining and contact my agent. They finally had a date for the inspector to come out. On December the 12th the inspector finally showed up. He showed up in a gold beat up ******** with ladders tied to the roof. He spent roughly a 1/2 hour at my residence. Keep in mind I have a three 3000 square foot roof. Not including a detached garage. His report came back and showed no roof damage only one side of siding and all windows were fine. I have metal in the valleys of my roof and it had some damage. They estimated roughly $800 worth of damage give or take. I thought this was a little odd because roughly in a 15 to 20 mile radius. Everyone's roof was bad but mine. So I reached out to a contractor to look at my roof. The contractor came out the very next day flew a drone over my roof and found damage everywhere. Also 8 windows where the frames were busted. And damage to my siding all over the house. In the meantime I received the call from ***** on a list of damage and what they were willing to pay. For one side of aluminum siding and the metal in the valleys of my roof $14816.39 Cash value was $10706.43 and that's the amount I received the check for. ***** called me to go over all this. The whole entire time he was telling me to put the money in my pocket and do not fix my investment my house. I thought this was a little strange for an adjuster to be telling me this. For someone that represents Farmers Fire Insurance. I did explain to him that I had a contractor come out and look at my roof and found damage. And you just absolutely played it off. I also had 4 window air conditioners that got hit in the storm. He only put one to be replaced. I've asked him and the insurance company. 10 times. How is this possible. I still yet have an answer. I also had a contract to look at my siding. He gave me a price of $14000 alone just replace one side. After going back-and-forth with *****. I contacted my agent and told him the frustration I am going through. They've got me in contact with head of claims for Farmer's Fire Insurance **** ********. After speaking with him I felt confident that this was finally gonna be resolved. Man was on mistaker. Send him over quotes for the roof and my windows. Please keep in mind. We're over the 60 day market this time. He flat out told me in email that they are not fixing my roof because it was not damaged. I sent him pictures of my windows . With a quote on replacing them. He told me the windows are fine because of glass was not broken. He also gave me directions on how to dispute his decision. After this I found it clean with the state and also emailed ***** *******, President and CEO of Farmer's Fire Insurance. A-day or so later **** informed me that he will be no longer handling my claim. That his supervisor ******* ****** Vice president of Farmer's Fire Insurance. I let him know that I would get a second contractor to look at my roof, windows and siding. I contacted ****** **** they came out on 2/7/23 and did an expression. They took over a 160 pictures of damage to my roof. I also had ***** ******** window come out on 2/5/23. They did an inspection and in their notes said the windows cannot be repaired only replaced. And gave me a quote on replacing eight windows. I sent the quote over to **** on the windows. I've reached out to around 10 contractors to get a price on the siding. All 10 contractors inform me that they will not do one side. I asked ****, what happens if I can't find someone to do the work. I'm still waiting on the answer. ****** **** is going to deal directly with the insurance company. On February 23rd, I heard from ****** ****. That ******** is going to come out to do the second expectation with them. But this date was not carved instead.. A week later, I reached out to ****** **** to see if they heard back from the adjuster. They told me they did not. This made me very angry. Because every time it seems like there's light at the end of the tunnel. Something always happens. I emailed **** to inform him of this. of course he never got back to me. Farmers Fire Insurance lacks in communication big time. A-day or so later I heard back from ****** **** telling me that the inspection was going to be March 15th at 10 AM. A March 14th. I received a call from ******* that they are going to have the reschedule due to weather. I ask the inspector if this is going to take another 3 weeks. He did apologize and said his boss wants us taking care of immediately. We rescheduled for March the 16th at noon. The only communication, I've had with Farmer's Fire Insurance has been through email. Initiated by me. I never received anything in the mail. They have never reached out to me. On March 16th the inspection took place. The 2nd adjuster found roof damage and my windows were also damaged. How can one inspector find nothing? But a second one find damage? So I'm still waiting to hear what the outcome is going to be. The issue from day one is incompetent 3rd party adjusters. How can one adjuster find nothing? But a second one finds damage? If I would've been proactive on this claim from the beginning. Farmers Fire Insurance would of got away leaving my home my investment in disarray. How many other people have they done this too? I had a lot of sleepless nights dealing with this. It has been a 117 days today. I'm in the same place. I was 117 days ago. Farmers fire insurance need to be held accountable. *********************
