I received care on May 30, 2024 of this year at ****************************. The entire care was covered by ****************************** and the hospital was given all contact information and filled out all forms to bill the company that was handling the workers compensation case. As part of the paperwork profile I filled out that day in the hospital was a form that protected me from random billing by third party players in relation to that visit at *****. I have received a digital bill via email from a group called *************************. They include Inova Fairfax in their subject line but seem to be unaffiliated with them. All correspondence has been from NO REPLY email addresses and they have never responded to my correspondence back to them to explain that they have to go through the hospital and the same workers compensation representative that the hospital was given authorization to contact via my ************************** and proper channels etc.. When you push on links for information about my charge and or my service, they ask for very sensitive information, much like a phishing scam. When I have called the phone number attached to the links that you have to search the emails for, there is an option to pay my bill online with an unmanned system and then when you attempt to hold, the message says, they are not open. The three times I have attempted to contact them, they have been closed for the day, closed for lunch, and then closed for training on the third attempt to contact them. I have left a voice mail communicating that I have attempted multiple times to contact them and that I intend to file a complaint with the BBB. I have had the same experience with the phone number given by the BBB website profile for this company. When you search this company on the BBB website several different healthcare company names come up on their account page. Very sincerely, *** I have included their billing ID below.
