      I am writing to request assistance with resolution of a matter related to a company, Alliance Restoration, which entered into a contract 5/26/2023 to complete house repairs at my home **********************************************************************, but did not follow through in a timely manner and did not complete work. As such, I would consider this to be a fraudulent practice as the company submitted plans to *************** for a homeowners insurance claim and did not perform the work as outlined. In addition, Alliance Restoration acted in a deceptive manner on more than one occasion. In spite of this, the company demands full payment. Thus far I have paid $17,988.99. Alliance Restoration has done nothing to resolve the problems that remain.

      Throughout the reconstruction process, the customer remained unresponsive, which hindered our ability to maintain a productive schedule. During the course of the work, a leak occurred on the second floor. The customer engaged her own plumber to address the issue without involving Alliance Restoration. Despite our multiple attempts to reach out to the plumber for the source of leak, we received no response. We've received no evidence or confirmation that this leak was related to our work in any way.

      However, in the interest of keeping the project moving forward, Alliance Restoration took the initiative to remove and replace all damaged plaster and walls, as well as repaint the affected areas at our own cost. We still did not receive any communication from the plumber and, as yet, have seen no evidence that the leak was related to our work such that Alliance would be responsible for it.

      In March 2024, Alliance Restoration made further attempts to contact the customer to address any remaining punch list items or open issues. After several months of unsuccessful attempts, we finally heard from the customer in October 2024. At that time, the customer refused to pay the final invoice and submitted a list of items she requested be credited. We asked for photographic documentation of any outstanding issues, but no response or supporting photos were provided. We were subsequently notified of this complaint.

      As to the claim that personal property was damaged during the project, we requested photographic evidence of any such damage but none was provided.

      Alliance's position is that all work was completed in accordance with the contracted scope of work and the estimate agreement with **************** including a ~$5,600 supplement approved by the carrier. Any items not performed were previously credited on the final invoice. The remaining balance is accurate to the best of our knowledge.
