  i had these guys do a driveway ,was done late in fall iven after i told them not to.they came months after due date at 8 oclock at nigth to pave ,using flash ligths from cell phone ,i had no luck try to stop them ,next day i called them to let them know it was very poor work ,they said they warranty it for 5 years ,come spring all kinds of vegetation came thru. sink holes that keep showing up ,places you can see rocks ,thickness of 3'' is less than half inch ,i tried to get them to replace slab or refund it ,no luck .i had filled a complain with license and registration board in ri, espection was made several violations were issued ,they was over phone hearing that was a joke , dont look like slab can be seved crarcks are showing i paid $7,0007 to these guys iven with 5 warranty they done nothing

  We installed the driveway and had met with the customer to discuss the issues they were having. They had decided they didn't like the asphalt that was paved, even though our estimator had discussed how it would look more course before they signed up for the job. The paving work that was done was what was discussed prior to the job being done. As for the vegetation, unfortunately sometimes when the asphalt is paved acorns from trees around will drop into the asphalt while it's being paved and will grow. The owners stated to the customer they would take care of the vegetation growing as well as seal-coat the driveway for them in the Fall towards the end of our season. The customer held a portion of their payment back for this very reason. They also put in a complaint with the state's ****************** The owners discussed the same thing with the ***************** about offering to take care of the vegetation. The customer did not like the outcome and decided to forego the repairs or the sealing.

  i reject the respond from contractor ,we were gone seal it in spring ,before all vegetation stared to come thru ,sealing wasn't gone stop all hey corn that they went over from coming thru ,sealing wasn't gone stop all sink hole ,bear rock showing places you can see dirt ,the asphalt is above my door sill how can you put storm door back unless trim bottom of door ,its a terrible job ,what do you aspect when they show up at 8 o'clock at night bring cold asphalt use flashlight from cell phone

  Unfortunately that can happen while the paving work is being done if there are trees around. The vegetation falls into the asphalt while it's being paved and it isn't seen until after. The paving to the door ledge was discussed with the customer previously. The sealing as well as taking care of the vegetation before the sealing happened was offered to the customer. They also held money back to have the sealing done. We discussed when the sealing needed to be done for it to be the most effective for them during the meeting with the ***** of ************ but unfortunately the customer refused to listen.
