I am forced to call the police on this gentleman for straight robbing me. I met him for the first time end of October 23. I sat in his office and shared a spinach pie as he tried to seduce me to become his client. He was in and out taking calls, dealing with personal matters, as we discussed a series of potential accounting needs for my 6 different businesses. At the end of the meeting, we discussed him only doing a one hour accounting job to start. He mentioned going into surgery for 2 days but would get it done by month's end. Throughout November I emailed him and called and he never answered. I asked him for a refund on Nov 27th, 2023 after over a month with no response from him and finally he writes back. Your money is spent and you owe more. How did he spend my **** dollar retainer on one hour of work that he never did and never responded to me for a month. How was he working all this time unable to answer me. He claims to have randomly started working on other corporations I never tasked him with but never shared the work just an invoice of accounting work for companies I didn't even own. He said he would only do work that I authorized by email first. We would start with the one 941 task and that was it. I email authorized it. That was a one hour billing on his invoice for 125 bucks. When he fabricated this invoice, he also charged me 250 for our lunch meeting before I hired him. And **** for 24 months of statement posting on a company I don't own and which he won't explain what this work is. I asked him what is this work, what is statement posting, when did I authorize this? He says do not contact my office anymore. Can this really happen? Is this real?

Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered.

I wasn't sure what to do with this but if it's just to answer you and tell you there's been no resolution. I can do that right now and say, Yes, there has been NO resolution. The accountant literally robbed me and when considering police charges. I'm concerned about future customers being robbed by this accountant. He literally did nothing, never spoke to me and sent me a 2k bill for no rendered services.
