    Could not explain why they could not help a 100% disabled vet get their back pay. Zero information from this company and will make sure others do not come to them for whatever service they claim to do.All the veteran reviews here are the same. No one should be using them. And if by some chance you did get help, that just means you could have done it on your own. They want the easy ones for sure.

    If I could give me them a zero I would.We reached out to the *** Law for help on an *** claim that is going through an appeals process.There is no follow through, only text message replies. I had to do all the follow up to see what the status is as our deadline is fast approaching. It does make me wonder if this is even a ****************, I have never had this type of experience before.They shockingly called me to say they couldn't take my case (which I see is a pattern) then asked me if I wanted the number to the VA for assistance. My husband ISN'T even a veteran. Did they even research the request?????I am sure *** Law feels " sorry they can't take every case".

    We are sorry that we did not meet your expectations.  Unfortunately,we cannot represent everyone who contacts us, even if we wish that we could.  Our lawyers and other professionals strive to help as many people as we can, even if we are not able to represent them.  Here, you and your husband contacted us through our website. The next business day, we called you and spoke with you and your husband.  We asked you to provide us with documents that we needed to review in order to determine if we could assist.  You provided those documents later that day.  We carefully reviewed your matter.  We then called you to inform you that we could not assist you. During the call, in an effort to help you, our team member mistakenly offered you the number for a veterans service organization, even though your husband is not a veteran.  This was our human error.  We apologize for the confusion and frustration that this caused, particularly when you are going through this hard time.  We are grateful for your feedback, and we will provide additional training to our team in an effort to avoid this from happening again. We wish you well.

    I reached out to CCK due to their web presence. They do put out some good articles and videos which contain relevant and useful information. That is the only reason they get one star.Apparently, they are all talk. My impression of this firm is that the only analysis they care about is how much back pay a veteran might win in a particular matter as their fees are dependent on this. Their decision to take or reject a case really has nothing to do with the merits of the case or helping a veteran in need. They claim they cannot tell you why they won't accept your case but the reality is they would plain look like a** clowns if they owned up to the truth that they just don't feel like they will make enough money off of you. That's why they ask you about your current rating, etc. as part of their analysis. This is a call center with folks who answer the phones who are not trained in veteran issues. Ask yourself this - would you ever hire a law firm when you didn't even get to speak with an attorney to discuss the merits of your claim?As a disabled veteran, I would recommend that you seek representation elsewhere. These guys portray themselves as saviors of all of us veterans but turn their back on us because we are deemed not worthy of their time or effort. They are inebriated by the exuberance of their own verbosity and only look at THEIR bottom line rather than addressing the legitimate facts/circumstances at issue.AVOID CCK.

    I was tired and just settled for what the VA gave me. Then, I received a letter from Chisholm *********************************************** then a phone call. I was not going to respond until I obtained more information about them. I called them back to identify what they can assist me with after a decision was granted by the board. They believe more can be done with my case. I am going to let them help because I have been fighting the VA since 2011, after retiring over my disabilities and frankly, I am tired. I am eager to see what the company can assist me with.

    Go somewhere else. I contacted them for help with appeals at 90 percent. Ended up homeless waiting for them to review my case. Was told I had a good case and to standby. Filed more claims myself and got myself to 100 while waiting for them to review for over 6 months. After I got my ******************* without ever doing anything to help my situation. It two weeks to even get a return phone call to find out i was being dropped as a client. They do not care about veterans. They will leave you homeless and without help.

    YOU SEE THESE ADVERTISEMENTS FROM CCK, *** AND YOU SEEK THEIR HELP ONLY TO BE TOLD THEY CANNOT HELP YOU AND TO SEEK ASSISTANCE THROUGH THE **** BASICALLY YOU ARE LEFT TO FEEL THAT NOT ONLY YOUR CLAIM IS LOW IMPORTANCE - YOU ARE LOW IMPORTANCE TO THEM.

    CC&K worked their ***** off to get me a settlement. They kept me updated every six months. I went through four incompetent VSO's before I turned my case over to CC&K. They got me 90% and a check for over $114,000. They are currently working on getting me to 100% TDIU. Yes, they did get 30% of the settlement, they earned it. I can only say 70% of something is better than 100% of nothing the VSO's were getting me. I refer people to CC&K whenever they ask.

    Terrible and unprofessional. After a long period of review, they stated that they wouldn't be able to assist and then gave me a referral to DAV. Wouldn't explain why they would or wouldn't take the case. It would seem like it was not enough money for them. As someone works in mental health with veterans, I can tell you that the VA process can be brutal, and when looking for help a little more compassion would have gone a long way. I'll be letting everyone I know in the veteran community to stay far far away from these folks. Zero decency.
