I contacted ****** on June 1, 2023 and provided picture of a sign I wanted repainted. ****** said he could do the job and I dropped off the sign at his address on June 4. He said it would only take a few days and he could inform me of the progress. On Sunday June 11, I contacted ****** to find out the status of the job. He replied that it was almost ready, probably by Tues or Wed. I didn't hear from him again so I contacted him on June 22 with no reply. On June 26 I contacted him again and he said he had been busy with a family situation and that he would be back in town on Sun July 1 and the sign would be done by Wed July 5. On July 6, I contacted ****** again and said that I needed to pick up the sign by the weekend. On July 11, he stated that he was still out of town, more back and forth. He said he would send it to me. I gave him my address but never received my sign. Communication has stopped. It is August 7 and he still has my sign and won't talk to me. I just want the sign back even if he hasn't worked on it.Customer response

Im responding to the above complaint case that was filed by ******************** ***** complaint is 1/2 true. First, She did drop off a 7x24 tin Home Goods sign that she wanted repainted. Ive had a death in our family that has taken me out of state for that past 2 months. I was getting ready to mail back to her the sign when I left. Secondly and most importantly I NEVER TOOK ANY MONEY FROM HER, I DONT OWE HER ANY MONEY. I just need her address so I can send her sign back. I inadvertently deleted her texts so I have no idea what her contact info is. This complaint to the BBB was unnecessary for a $7.99 cheap sign.Customer response

Heres the tracking number for ***************** so I dont have to hear from her that I didnt send back her cheap Home Goods sign. As I said, no money was ever exchanged.
