I didn't report this issue earlier, hoping they would remedy the situation. The start of this incident is 12/16/2022.I have sent them material for refining before, last time in 2006. Being satisfied with the results then, I decided to repeat. This time however, it's different. On 12/16/2022, I shipped them floor sweeps, some bench sweeps and polishing dust, in a keg that was provided by them and with their ***** label emailed to me by ******** ******. It was accumulating since 2006. On 11/21/2022 and 12/1/2022, I received emails from ************************* and ******** ****** respectively, with an attachment confirming the receipt of the keg with the said content, signed by **************** Curren, III. On 12/15/2022, an email from ********, with an attached settlement report, states: Net Weight **** lbs. and A.B. (After Burn) Weight 7.8 lbs. and recoverable metals: Gold ***** **** ounces and Silver **** ounces. I was extremely upset and called right away, ******** said that they already shipped the gold, even though, I had made it very clear beforehand, that they should call me first. I got through to ***** Curren, told him I will not accept the package. Having checked their reviews only now, I told him if one person complains it's an opinion, when several complain, it's a consensus. He said he'll look into it. He didn't call back. I left him a message the next day and wrote an email asking for explanation. I indicated that I could have sold the dust for $500 a pound and get $9000 plus, but always refined the metal to cycle it back into the shop. He said he was looking at the 2006 settlement, when they sent me 4.5 ounces of metal for 12 lbs. of material. I asked him several times to email me that statement, together with a picture of the keg with the seal intact, but he never did. They put his father *** on the phone. He said "This is what you get, the case is closed! We don't want to work with you anymore." Instead of $9000+, they want to send me $259.24 in gold. Docs Attached.

I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. In fact the owners are not even answering my calls.

I sent 28 ounces of pure 24K gold to this company and they claimed it wasn't pure gold. It is brand new dental gold that wasn't used in any way, no scrap metal, all new metal. After they refined it, they told me it was only 24 ounces of gold and I was underpaid by about $8,000. I contacted the company and and no one seemed to want to help me. I spoke to a person who I assume is the owner and nothing was done, my complaint was ignored. They told me that the company I got the gold from is lying about the gold content but this is a reputable company that has been in business for well over 300 years. I know this not to be true since I spoke to the company I purchased the gold from and they said the content listed is 100% accurate because this metal is to be used in an person's body and they are required to be 100% accurate by law. Please help me resolve my problem with this dishonest company. Thank You

    FAQ

Hi, Yes I spoke to the owner from Pease & Curren and he is the one who recommended that I talk to the company that I purchased my 28 oz. of gold from and give him the person's phone number who I spoke with and he will call and speak to him on my behalf. One month passes buy and he never contacts me, I am assuming that he doesn't care and doesn't bother to contact me. He eventually contacts me a month later once he sees that I filed an complaint with the BBB but never before until I filed my complaint. I called his company many times and left messages and he never returned my calls until he sees the complaint. They lost nothing in this process, if anything, they gained over $8000 in profit off of the pure gold dental alloy I sent them. I am the small guy here and they are the milti-million dollar company that is making their money dishonestly. This is my first time and my last time that I do business with Pease & Curren and I will make sure all my colleagues know how they are and never to do business with them. I attached the gold content of the dental gold that I sent that is *** regulated which is 100% accurate because this metal goes in a person's mouth and has to be compatible to the human body. I stand by what I said that Pease & Curren is a dishonest company and they will continue doing this to other customers unless the little guy stands up and defends themselves. I'm sure nothing will come of this but I just want to warn other consumers and to beware and be aware of this dishonest company. Thank You, Suleiman

    FAQ

    Regards,

    Suleiman

Pease & Curren can claim what they want but I know the truth and so do they but they will not admit to what they did because they will be exposed the dishonest company that they are. Either the entire company is dishonest or employees that work there are dishonest or maybe a combination of the two. I cannot prove anything but all I can is state the facts and hope the public take my warning. I have nothing to gain, I already lost over $8000 but I just don't want to this to happen to anyone else. I'm not the huge company Pease & Curren are and I can't afford the fancy lawyers that they have working for them but all I can do is speak the truth. They do not sympathize with anyone other than themselves. Everyone, just be careful and be aware of this company. I'm the little guy that has nothing to gain, I've already lost but I believe in karma. Thank You
