Date of transaction: 7/17/2024 Transaction amount for bill I paid in full: $341.20 (with proof of receipt from Prime Healthcare and my bank statement)Nature of dispute: Once I paid my bill in full on the online My Chart Portal, it then immediately stated that I only paid $144.30, although my receipt says $341.20 as well as the money has been pulled from my bank account with proof of that as well. My portal states that I still owe the remaining balance of $196.90.Account #: ************ I have been calling for 5 weeks straight, several times a week, to discuss with the billing department this issue. I have mailed over the proof of receipt (as they requested,) as well as have faxed on three different occasions (as they requested,) and they state that they "never received it." I was promised to have several supervisors call me back on this issue with no calls ever received. No agent has been able to help this issue, and I keep getting redirected and told to wait "two additional weeks for processing" even though they claim to never receive my proof of receipt. I have waited 5 weeks now with all documentation in many forms provided. No one has gotten back to me, and no one has provided a solution. They continue to bill me for other services but have yet to resolve this issue.

I visited my physician's office on 10/26/2022 and paid my copay in-person. I was told by the front desk that I had a credit of $21.80, so I only owed $3.20 (my copay is typically $25), which is what I paid. Months later, I began receiving bills in the mail for the $21.80, listed as an outstanding balance. I have attempted numerous times to address the issue, both in-person and over the phone, but it has not been resolved. I have been given various contact numbers by the office personnel, physician assistant, and the billing statements. I received a call back once, on 11/16/23, by a person named *****, who said she would look into it and get back to me. I have never heard from her since then. I continue to call and leave messages for the billing department about once every other week, and no one ever answers the phone or returns my messages. I continue to receive this bill in the mail twice per month. At this point it is harassment with no recourse. I would just like the bills to stop and the credit to be honored, based on what I was told by their office back in October 2022.

      Customer Answer

I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. This is the main issue, that they are unresponsive and thus I have been unable resolve the issue.
