Scott B******, associated with Aiken Housing Center along with his members, treated me at first with kindness and respect. Upon dwelling further into my needs and visiting my home with an associate of Scott's, Ron, taking pictures and giving me promises, it soon became evident that it was all a smoke screen. I never received quotes that was promised by Ron, I even revisited their office, phone call made to Ron for a return call, all to no avail. The attempt to represent themselves by Ron was all overridden by his presence. If need be I'd be glad to state how if asked. Needless to say, I shall look elsewhere for repair and renovations or shall try my best in doing the work myself...even at the age of 76. A very bad way to represent a company in this such a manner.

Great service to start with. Once papers were signed, service started falling off. We delt with it because we kept being told COVID. Constantly being given the run around and told our issues are "normal" or "not that big of a deal". After closing we move in and the problems we had were "repaired" hesitantly. Finally toward end of 2021 we lost power to half the house. Ended up being their electrician scraping the main wire to the house on the concrete footers causing the wire to corrode almost in half. When that was repaired the electrician broke/cracked quite a few bricks on the underpinning which I immediately took photos of and sent to our rep Coleman to have repaired since it was still under warranty and it was THEIR contractor that damaged the brick. I received no response. So I sent multiple follow-up texts and emails. Still no response. Now the warranty has expired, which I'm sure was the plan, and have YET to hear a word back. 2 star service at best. If you don't mind being given the run around and getting ******* over and over, go to aiken housing. If not, STAY AWAY.

We are aware of the hole in the brick and yes, this was an overlooked work order. We still have this work order and will have the hole repaired. This was not delayed as a ploy to wait for your warranty to expire. We a knowledge the repair request and will have it completed.

Rude. Over priced junk. Buyer beware. They look nice but look close. The price has gone up 1/3. No carpet unless you want to pay extra( except in some bedroom) wood is a lesser quality. Things that used to come standard are now extra. But a house. Value will stay and you know what your getting

My family was really excited about becoming first time homebuyers. In November 2019 we bought a home off the old lot which Scott was actually going to GIVE away. It just needed a few repairs (as the naked eye could see) so Scott and I agreed that if he made "repairs," he would have to sell it instead of give it away. I accepted and agreed to pay nearly $35, 000 once repairs were made and the "industrial-strength" central unit was included. After closing, it took two months to have my home delivered and set up. We had to pay expensive hotel rates in the meantime. Once we got in the home is when the nightmares truly began. All the "repairs" that were made obviously weren't made. We attempted to make these repairs ourselves but it's become far too expensive especially when you're hounded about paying on time at the same time. There are many leaks in the roof which rain has tricked down into the walls on the inside. I have repetitively fixed floors due to rotting out over and over again. In one of the kid's bedroom, there's a breaker box that is not securely affixed to the wall. In the other kid's bedroom, the wall is detached from the ceiling so there's a huge crack there. I can walk down the hall and see the sunlight coming through. There are obviously MANY leaks throughout the home according to the mold remediation company that came out. The remediator said there's a bad active leak which looks like it was somehow rigged up as a quick fix. I have mushrooms growing out my bathroom floor and my home smells musty despite what efforts I make to rectify it. As for the "industrial-strength" unit Scott included, it was found by a certified HVAC company to not be sufficient enough to adequately cool and heat this size home. It is a 2 ton unit but should be a 4 ton. Lately, my family has gotten sick due to the mold. When we go in certain rooms, we fall into deep sleep without warning. I have closed those rooms. This morning I had to be rushed by ambulance to the ER after I was afflicted with an extremely fast heartbeat, dizziness, loss of balance, dry mouth/eyes, shallow breathing, etc. I literally thought I was about to die. My kids complain of stomach problems, rashes, and so forth. One is having constant complaints of diarrhea, burning eyes, fatigue and not being able to swallow. I've even had guests over who have experienced burning eyes and fatigue almost immediately. I refuse to put more money into this home when there's thought to be a mold problem inside the walls in addition to what we have actually seen already. After I got back from the ER, I called Scott. I wanted to see how I can get the history of this home. Why was it on the give-away list? Did the previous owners have mold problems or what? Well, I guess it's no surprise but as of yet I have not heard back from Scott. This is a serious matter. I need answers. I'm looking into finding my family emergency housing because we are sick here. When we're away from the home we're fine. When we return, this happens. I'm tired and stressed out. I'm about to abandon this place and all my belongings because I don't want to risk cross-contamination. I'm very disappointed in my experience. I will try to call Scott again tomorrow
