      I had a colonoscopy on 12/23/2022. I received a bill from Anesthesiology Services of Anderson PA dated January 26, 2023 with an amount due of $311.03 with a **** ****** Discount of $843.97. I paid amount due $311.03 on 2-8-2023 receiving a reference number of **************. On April 6, 2023 I received a bill from Anesthesiology Services of Anderson PA with an amount due of $532.94. On this bill 12/23/22 Anesthesia Services Doctor $1155.00, 04/04/23 **** ****** Discount - no dollar amount, 01/18/23 Applied to Deductible $311.03, 02/11/23 *************** Payment $311.03 (my payment), 03/28/23 **** ****** Payment $311.03 (covered expense per my Explanation of Benefits Statement period 03/03/2023 - 03/23/2023), 03/28/23 Transfer $532.94, amount due $532.94. I received another bill on June 23, 2023 with the same information. On September 20, 2023 I received a bill from ****** ****** (collection agency). Per my EOB statement period 03/03/2023 - 03/23/2023 covered expense us $311.03 and the amount owed by me was $0.00. I have talked to this company several times with them stating they need to send the information to their account department for review and it will take 90 days. On July 7, 2023 I called **** ***** **** ****** telling them of my problem where they called Anesthesiology Services having a three way call, again being told it will take 90 days for review. At that time, I emailed my EOB because they claimed they didn't have my current EOB per their request. I called again on 12/19/23 asking about my account, being told that I have a balance of $532.94, talked to Carl telling him I was aware of all the transactions and that I was due a refund. He states that it will have to go to accounting for a review. I informed him that I would be filing a complaint with The BBB. I have done everything I know to do. This is fraud. I have documents to upload and will upload when I return to work from vacation next week.

      I have talked with Pamela at the anesthesiologist office. I received my refund check. I had to contact the surgeon that did my procedure, then they contacted the anesthesiologist. The anesthesiologist called me giving me his cell number if didn’t hear back from his office. He is the one that told me Pamela would be contacting me and looking into my refund. I don’t think the doctor’s office in Anderson is the problem, it’s the company they have contracted to do their billing. I still need to call to make sure the collection agency has removed the collection process that was started. If you need to call me please do. Thank you for your help.

      I am requesting help with a refund from Anesthesiology Services of Anderson PA for 235.63. I called them monthly to check if my insurance had paid yet and they sent the bill to collections anyway. I paid the Collections company ****** ****** and Associates 235.63 on 12/30/2022 (see attachment). Then my insurance paid Anesthesiology Services of Anderson (see attachment). Anesthesiology Services has been paid twice, once by ****** ****** and then by my **** Insurance. Anesthesiology Services advised me to email them proof of my payment and they would refund my money, which I did on Jan 13, 2023. I have called them monthly about my refund and they keep pushing me off with no resolution. I am requesting the BBB to help me get my refund of 235.63.
