    I purchased a *** ********** on April 12, 2023. I put $10,000 cash down and financed 5,000. My engine lock up 2 months ago. I had it pulled to the *** dealership in Beaufort SC. It has now been there for almost 2 Months. They said it would cost about $14,000 to put in a new motor. I gave Auto Genius in Beaufort all the money i had. I trusted them. I had to take the car back the next day because the check engine light was on. They took it in the back and did something to it. But the next day it came right back on. I feel taken advantage of being a female. I don't know what to do. I need help.

    To whom it may concern, 

    It's a very unfortunate situation that Ms. ****** has found herself in. She failed to mention that she put over 15,000 miles on her vehicle after purchase. We are not responsible for how she maintained and drove her vehicle. She purchased approximately 15 months ago. At what point is the car hers. I believe she made the right decision by purchasing a warranty. However, her issue is not with Auto Genius USA. Her issue is with the warranty company. Please have her call one of our managers today and we will help her navigate through the warranty claim. But let's be really clear... This is not an Auto Genius USA issue. She has a warranty, and they are asking permission to tear it down in order to begin the work. It's her responsibility to authorize the repairs.

    Auto Genius USA, my experience at this car establishment has been the worst. I dont think Ill ever be able to recommend it to other people. On December 6, 2023, I bought them a car, and by January 22, 2024, the car started with engine problems. In which my calls to the dealer and to the warranty that (the dealer sold me) have not been resolved. I have been waiting for two months for my problem with my car to be resolved, which I keep calling and so far, my car has not been delivered to me and the worst thing is that they never took the time to provide me with temporary transportation. They are not taking over nor are they taking responsibility for repairing my car. As a customer, I will not return to this establishment. I never felt like a valued or important customer to them. Ive been waiting for my car for two months now. Two months paying the payment of the car. Two months paying insurance, two months paying transportation to my job. And when they take the time, the dealer answers my call to tell me that my car is being repaired and I must pay a deductible for what? The warranty nor the dealer will pay the total amount to repair my car. Two months and pay a money deductible? I dont think thats a good answer to your customer&#**;s. I demand that the ********************** dealer be held responsible for any related problems after my car is delivered, to any related problems, to the previous engine problem.

    ************** is having an issue with the warranty company and not Auto Genius USA.

    We are available for maximum support. Our staff members have properly communicated with her since she filed the claim. I have recently tried calling ************** to learn more about her situation. I received her voicemail and asked her to return my call. It is not our character to abandon customers when in need of service work. It appears that ****** or the service facility" is charging above the average hourly labor rate in order to fleece **************. Our responsibility is to help facilitate the warranty process. Please ask for ***************, and I will contact the warranty company immediately after we speak. Please do not hesitate to call, ************ office or ************ cell.

    This is for Auto Genius USA. Complaint#: ********. We received a reply from the owner of the establishment, and he told us that he wants to look at all the invoices that have been collected, both from the ***** establishment and the amount that the guarantee has paid and that after looking at all the payments and collections, we can sit down to talk about the problem. It is a message that the workers of Auto Genius USA, is not really what they comment in the statement that they say, they say they were helping us, at no time did we have help from them to solve the problem, I went three times to Auto Genius, *** and they only told me that I had to pay with my warranty, I expected them to help me, because they were the ones who sold me a car in bad condition, which was only a month of use and gave me problems with the engine, if they cant offer a car in good condition to their customers. I demanded a refund of the money I had to pay at the ***** for the repair fee, and the rent of the car that I had to use during two months of waiting for the car to be delivered to me.

We just want our problem to be resolved. Because we are still waiting for the business to resolve something but to date nothing has been resolved.

    Dear ***************************,

     

    Ive spoken to ************** and her daughter multiple times regarding the claim. When our staffed learned of her mechanical issues, we immediately coached her through the warranty process. The warranty company believes the hourly labor rate charged by the service department was excessive. Her claim came out to approximately $10,100. The warranty company paid approximately $8,800 towards that claim. Its unfortunate the time it took to complete those repairs were longer than expected. This was out of Auto Genius USAs control. ************** rented a car for 80 days and provided a rental receipt for $2400. The warranty company agreed to reimburse her for the actual standard repair time of 5 days, totaling $150. She just needs to give them a call. We are prepared to match the warranty company in like manner, by paying an additional $150 towards her rental car. The car should have been repaired within 10 days. Again, shes getting a total of $300 total from both Auto Genius USA and the warranty company for rental reimbursement. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused her and her family.

    The 2018 Ford Focus that Auto Genius USA, LLC sold me has the check engine come on 6 times and has been taken to be repair for same thing without being repair. The car is a total lemon and needs for them to take it back and replace with a car with a full warranty.
