Bought 2 lots of dbd/blursy movies.. online write up stated BRAND NEW items, and that they had to be shipped in 14 and 21 boxes, for 209 and 280 in shipping for the 2 lots.. when they were received, each came in a box via **** (which cost 28.50 to ship each one). The items were used (manufacture seals, and shrink wrap were removed). I'm a used-like new condition the items are not what I paid for them, the merchant refused to compensate anything, either for shipping or the fraudulent product advertising.. direct liquidators are scam artists and crooks..Business Response

Good Afternoon,
We had submitted credit memos for this order, however, our Accounting Team informed us you filed a chargeback with your credit card.
We reached out to you on August 11th, asking if you could remove the chargeback that was filed so that we can credit you.
However, you declined to remove it and we cannot credit while a chargeback dispute is open.
Please let us know if there is anything we can further assist you with.Initial Complaint

THIS IS THE ONLY REVIEW YOU NEED TO READ!!- Our company has been buying from Direct for several years to the tune of several hundred thousand dollars. The company has gone down hill in the last year- The buyer ( you) are not the customer- ******* etc. is the customer in the eyes of Direct- If you get a misrepresented product it is your problem, not Direct's- We recently bot a pallet ( $ 4000) that was supposed to have 80 plus of a specific item- when it arrived there was only 2 of that item and the rest was mostly junk. Direct said it was our problem ( not the first time this has happened recently). Important to know that Direct's parent company, TRG, also owns *** which sells on all the venues you will be selling as well- Obviously, *** pays way less than you do and will also sell for less than you can- this is called a CONFLICT OF INTEREST !!Business Response

Dear ***,
As previously explained, for all inventory listed as "Untested Customer Returns", the pallets are shipped as we receive them from the vendor, contents are not inspected by our staff and it is expected of the units to have damage, be non-functional or missing parts/packaging, as well as the manifest not having accurate item description/count.
For these reasons, the orders are not sold under warranty and not eligible for any refunds or returns. This is clearly stated on the listing and also on our FAQ.
On April 12th, you have reached out to us regarding similar issues on another Customer Returns lot (********) and we were able to provide you a 10% OFF coupon as a courtesy, please note that only one coupon is allowed per account. There is nothing else we can offer as a compensation at this time.
We strongly recommend you to purchase our 'Refurbished' or 'Brand New' lots and always check the warranty information on the listing if you are looking for products that go through Quality Assurance inspection..
Best regards,Customer Answer

I buy from companies much like direct Liquidation often. I made my first purchase from them after talking to their sales department. I was told I would receive a 10% discount on my first purchase. After I made my first purchase of $4800 and went to pay, I was then told that the 10% discount was only for orders up to $1000. I have my own trucks so I asked if I could pickup my order. The process is bad from the start. It takes 3 to 5 days untill you can schedule a pickup after you pay by wire transfer, then another 7 to 10 days when you call to schedule pickup. The auction I won said retail value was $60,000, was 15 pallets, and weight was 12,500lbs, and there are pictures of ride on toys, bikes, electronics and an explanation that they are untested return and unmanifested. When we get to the pickup they load the trucks with 20 pallets, I tell the people loading the truck I was supposed to only get 15 pallets, told them that my order was for 15 pallets not 20, they assured me it was my order. When we get back to my warehouse and start unloading it is pure trash, there are half drank soda bottles on top, rotten a ********'s food bag. Then the product is over half open toilet paper, open tampons, open *******, grass seed bags with holes, open paper plates, open zip lock baggies, open plastic silverware, open leaking containers of cleaning fluids in zip lock bags that the leaked through, old outdated candy, old outdated beef jerkey. I have been going back and forth for over two weeks. I was offered a 10% refund, I told them if that was their best to process the refund and I would never buy from them again, i did not get any reply for over a week, after several attempts I received a duplicate message offering me a 10% refund, I asked if they needed any information from me and when and how the refund would happen. Then no reply for days, untill I called. I was told the 10% refund was denied, and that I could have a $400 credit twords my next purchase, that is adding insultBusiness Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.
It is illegal, it is a bait and switch. There are pictures listed in the auction of items I was told when I called your sales department that the pictures were of the actual pallets I placed the bid on. All you seem to do is twists facts, truth, to cover illegal business practices. I am not a schmuck and do not appreciate being treated like one. I used to assume this was a mistake on your part, you have proven that theory wrong. I was also told before I made my first purchase I would get a 10% discount on my first purchase, then I called in about my discount and was told that was only for purchases up to $1000. I'm really tired of being lied to. Don't no need to go any further, you can refund 50% or you can refund 50% plus expenses, arrourny fees, and court costs. 50% is what I am owed and will not take one cent less!!
