    I placed a $100.00 deposit for a Christmas Advent house in 2021. On 9/12/22: I received an invoice for $1895.00 and paid on 9/14/22. On 6/08/23: I sent an email requesting a refund or the action that I needed to take in order to facilitate the refund. (Family medical emergency). NO RESPONSE RECEIVED. On 6/18/23: I again asked what I needed to do in order to receive a refund. On 06/20/23: I was informed that they would cancel the order and bill another customer for the house and then they would issue me a refund. On 08/02/23: I inquired again about the refund. NO RESPONSE RECEIVED. On 11/27/23: I inquired again about the refund. NO RESPONSE RECEIVED. On 08/12/24: I inquired again about the refund. NO RESPONSE RECEIVED. Due to a family critical illness situation, I was unable to contact the company as often as I should have. I am disappointed that the company would hold onto my money for all of this time and not refund me. Please advise if there is any additional information that you need from me. Thank you.

    I ordered a Christmas Advent house on 12/31/22, placing a deposit of $395 via ******. I received an invoice for the balance of $1899 and paid it on 4/10/23. I have all emails, texts, and fb messages showing repeated attempts of status updates which were unanswered unless I post something on their fb page. I asked for a refund after another buyer reached out after they finally received their house. The pictures of their house did not resemble the quality of their fb photos. I requested a cancellation and on March 12, 2024 they said they would assign the house to the next person in line and then I could get a refund in full. On May 2, 2024 I was told they were still waiting on payment from the new buyer. On July 9, 2024 I received a response after posting on their fb comments and was told I would be getting two refunds as their new buyer was getting their house in the coming weeks. They told me my ****** account wouldn’t allow payments, which wasn’t true as I use it for payments and purchases often. After sending a test request of $100 they sent me that, minus fees. In total Raymond and Jacqueline have received $2294 from me. I have received $100 of that back. No goods or services have been received by me. They are not responding to my messages anymore. They have ghosted me in the past and then claimed issues with their servers. But now even straight text messages to their phone (which they say is best form of contact) are ignored.

    I just wanted to update that I still have not heard or received anything from Raymond AKA Christmas Advent House.

    I placed the order Oct. 27, 2021 ($100 deposit) to commission a Christmas Advent House and received confirmation of the order. March 2, 2023 I received the final invoice ($1899, Invoice #*******) for the house that was supposed to be delivered this year. September 18 and 21, 2023 I sent emails asking about the status of my order. No response to either email. I sent another email Oct. 21, 2023 and was told "I will check where I have you in line as soon as I get into the workshop." I didn't receive any additional information after that. After the lack of communication on November 29, 2023 I told them I want a refund, I have not received any response. December 1, 2023 sent another email stating I would like a refund and to respond within 24 hours before I take further action. December 1st I received two emails back one stating “We are currenty working to finish a few Houses that we're ahead of your's. We actually, do owe you an email.to re-confirm your Options and shipping address. It will Be in the form of an Estimate Invoice. Once approved, final customization will be done and the Estimate will be co verted to the Final Invoice. Once completed, a ***** Tracking Number will be provided.” The other stated “If a refund is preferred, we can go ahead and issue the House to another Homeowner. The refund will be based on the previous transactions from the deposit and balance invoice.” I replied back to proceed with the refund, I have lost confidence in this company and was not going to send more money! When I did not receive the refund, I put a request in through ****** (the same way I paid them) on December 7th, I sent two additional reminders the second on December 17th. Along with an email to them on December 17th stating I expect my refund within 24hours. I have not heard anything from them since Dec. 1st. Sadly, I see they are selling on **** with delivery dates of March 2024 on those houses, even though their website site says they are now taking commissions for 2025. Things don’t add up.

    - 12/11/2020 Paid deposit for Christmas Advent House $115.00USD. - 12/13/2020 Received email confirming payment. - 10/13/2021 Sent email to touch base. - 10/13/2021 Received reply stating all good. - 4/4/2022 Received invoice for full payment. - 4/10/2022 Paid full invoice $1895.00USD. - 4/10/2022 Sent email stating optional extras and change of shipping address - No reply. - 06/28/2022 Sent another email to confirm change of shipping address - No reply. - 07/17/2022 Sent a messenger message through Facebook to check on progress and change of shipping address. - 07/18/2022 Received reply to say they would look into it tomorrow. - 10/01/2022 Sent another Facebook message as no reply to above. - 01/28/2023 Sent another Facebook message as no reply to above. - 02/08/2023 Sent email asking for refund as still no reply to above. - 02/09/2023 Received email reply stating that they would customize my house for another family and give me a refund. - 02/24/2023 Emailed to check on progress as no refund received - No reply. - 05/03/2023 Emailed to check on progress as refund received - No reply. I understand that I am in Australia but I was hoping as the business is in America you may be able to help? As you can see I have been very patient with them and given them plenty of opportunity to resolve this themselves but they just keep ignoring me. I would just like a full refund (minus the deposit of course). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Ordered an Advent House back in 2020 to be ready in 2022 and paid in full through a paypal payment plan. Contacted Christmas Advent House many times in the past 2 years about my house and when my house would be ready and they never responded. After being tired of their lack of communication I asked for my money back based on the return policy on Christmas Advent House website. No response so I put in a claim through paypal but they could only return money I paid in last 180 days, most of the money was sent prior to that so paypal couldn't return more than $200. ******* finally e-mailed me after the claim I put in through paypal. He said he reassigned my house to another customer and would refund my money. It has been 4 months since he said he would refund all of my money and still owes me $600. He has lied to me several times saying he will send it and never does or sends a small portion of what is owed to me. Most of the time he ignores my e-mails. If I do not get the rest of my money this month I will be forced to take taking legal action. Do not buy from this company. Read the comments on their Facebook page and Instagram and you will see they rarely respond to their customers, scam them, and lie.

I no longer have a complaint with this company.
