1 starBrad W I went to doctors care February of 2024 with complaints of throat and stomach pain. Was sent to the ER. Paid my copay then was charged from the hospital twice. Cool. Paid all of it. Get a text message saying I had a bill in collections FIVE MONTHS later. Never got an email or text or call about this bill of an EXTRA 200 dollars. I talked to someone over the phone and they said they called me June 1st. Never did. Said they mailed me four times. NEVER DID. I paid the 200 dollars, but I’d like either a refund or this to go OFF my credit score.Review fromPatricia W

1 starOn Wednesday, June 12, I went to the Doctor’s Care in Greer, SC. I was prescribed antibiotics, and swabbed my ankle for culture, and said that the culture results should be back in 4 days. I called Saturday, June 15, to see if the culture was back. The nurse”, Stephanie, told me it wasn’t back and that I would have received a call if it had been back. She never left the phone to check on the culture or to call about it. I called again on Sunday, June 16, the spoke to “the nurse”, Stephanie. I told her that the antibiotics were not clearing up the infection. I asked her to check to see if the results of the culture were back and again, she refused to check and told me I would get a call when it came back. She, however, spoke to someone who called in more antibiotics . He/she advised me to go to the ER if I was not better in 2 days. On June 17, I was not better and went to the ER at Pelham Hospital and was admitted. They began with tests to make sure I wasn’t Septic or that it wasn’t in my bones, and they started me on two strong IV antibiotics per day. On June 19, I had surgery to clean out the infection. The hospitalist, requested me to contact Doctor’s Care and have the Culture results faxed to them. This would help themknow what antibiotic to send me home on. Documents were signed on June 12 at Doctor’s Care to allow employees to speak with my husband. My husband called and explained the situation to Angel and Stephanie. Neither would make calls to inquire about the culture. Stephanie hung up on my husband. She refused to give her last name. She denied me my right to know what was going on with my culture which is a violation of patient’s rights! I called Quest Diagnostic and was told Doctors Care was contacted 6/14, and 6/18 for more info for them to complete test. They didn't supply Quest with my information or the requisition form was not completed. Results of test Out of Range , Report Does not contain Laboratory Results, No Collection Date ReceivedReview fromChelsea H

Have been for an appt. Did the whole appt. Called for results to find out they didn’t even test for what I came in for. Got called back 6 days later to give another sample. Then three days later To be told they don’t have the vile for the test when I called to inquire anbout results and to go to Margaret J Weston. Have had to call corporate to find out if they can get equipment been told yes. And if they are refusing or acting like they can’t do it to call corporate back. Very unprofessional and have had two useless visits where what I was being seen for wasn’t even handled. Hoping they handle this better and actually get this taken care of. Staffwas friendly up until they knew I called corporate and had been told they weren’t handling it like it should be.Doctors Care

RE: Customer Review 49636
To Whom It May Concern:
We are in receipt of the above referenced review, please find our response below.
Ms. Hart logged into our DCA, which is a virtual visit on May 12th, 2024, at approximately 10:45am, with “Medication Questions” after being discharged from the hospital. Patient told provider that she had been to her PCP on May 7th for a urine study and on May 10th received a call from their office with a new prescription. Ms. Hart told provider she went to MUSC ED for appendicitis and was diagnosed with a 3 cm cyst on her ovary and that was the likely problem and not appendicitis. She was treated with IV antibiotics while in the hospital.
Her question to the provider on the virtual visit was if she should take the prescription that she was given from her PCP that was called in on May 10th of Doxycycline as she had experienced some hand and feet burning with an antibiotic she was given in the hospital via IV; our provider advised her the best course of action would be to follow up with her PCP asap.
Ms. Hart then went into the Doctors Care Aiken Mall center at approximately 12:15pm on May 12th, 2024, with complaints of a possible UTI and that her PCP had diagnosed her with “ureaplasmin” and “Medication Questions”.
The provider on duty ordered a urine dipstick and a urine culture; which were both negative. Patient was upset that the test for the “ureaplasma” was not ordered.
After speaking with our Center Manager, and the patient returning to the center to provide a sample on May 20th, 2024, the test was sent out to Quest Diagnostics and we are currently awaiting results.
I spoke with the Center Manager on this date and she was going to call and check on the results so that she can call Ms. Hart and advise of said results. We are not sure who Margaret J. Weston is, as she is not one of our employees. We do apologize and hope that Ms. Hart will continue to use Doctors Care for her urgent care needs.

I didn't have a good experience with them in person or over the phone with them. I could here the dr talk about treatment for other clients and myself outside the room I was in. Iwas there for a sprained foot and he didn't give me any brace or tell me what i should get for stability. Just gave me pain medicine and that was it. The girls working the front desk were rude to patients and turning people away. Then when I call for a follow up the nurses were rude and one hung up on me when I called back. Tried to call again and they sent me straight to voicemail. I don't know why they stay open if they don't want to service the community. Shouldn't have to go through hell and high water for health care.Doctors Care

1 starThis company has a corporate billing and refund dept. I had services provided on 2/20/22 and paid an invoice for the services provided up receipt. They had not received insurance reimbursement so they now owe me a refund. They received the check 4/13 and it cleared 4/22. To this day I am still waiting to get this refund. They told me they finally approved the refund on 6/15 (4 months later) and I should see a check 6-8 weeks later. Seriously is this legal to keep patrons monies for this long and not paying me any interest for using my money. I assume they work only a few hours at this pace. Bet their collection dept would react faster if I did not pay to turning it into collection agency. Will not hopefully ever deal with this company again.Review fromElizabeth S

1 starWe contract with them for our workers' comp claims. Each time I am on hold for several minutes before getting to talk to anyone, the rep I eventually get is rude and hangs up on me. I typically have to call 3 or 4 times to get them information they have requested, while they refuse to see the employee in the interim. They do not email or fax items (the authorization forms) as they say they will, which adds time to the employee waiting for emergency care. I end up calling back several times to get the paperwork they require (even tho we have a contract with them) again, while the employee is waiting for care. When I ask that they please hold while I receive the fax or email so I can confirm they have sent it, they hang up on me. if I could give this zero stars, i would.
