The house was built with a poor quality of work. Floors are not level. You can see where they patched the concrete under the vinyl. Caulk is under, over, and around the inside moldings everywhere. I had to specifically request they caulk the outside penetrations to the house. Walls are not plumb. These are just a few of the things that I have noticed .This house has so many flaws, I do not have space to discuss them here. Right now one of the two columns that hold up the roof of my back porch is twisting? I am just watching it to see how bad it gets. The house was also not placed where it was supposed to be according to the DHEC plat and their septic tank employee ran the drain lines up to the base of a large oak tree that ended up being removed. I thought the driveway was supposed to be crush and run. They left me with 400 feet of entrance rock. I did not know recycled concrete was not crush and run when I signed to pay for it. I thought I was getting crush and run which is a smaller gravel than entrance rock. My house is not built to the standard of the model home. I feel that I was deceived by their advertising and them in many instances. I did complain about the house as it was being built but until I sent them a registered letter, they blew me off. I also went to a lawyer before the final walk through because I did not want to accept a house with so many construction flaws and not just superficial ones. If I had know the way this house was going to built, I would have never contracted with this company.

Mrs. Frantz was a great client to work with on this project. She was very interactive with the day-to-day activities and spoke into the project both reactively and pro-actively. Its very disappointing to us that her expectations were not met. The home closed with (1) outstanding punch list item, the 90-day repair list was a total of (8) items & the 11-month repair list was a total of (4) items: These list/items were submitted by the client all of which where taken care of. The simplicity of the lists doesn't match up with the comments written in this review. We will surely reach out to the client to see what may be missing, along with reviewing the porch column being reported in the review. An item that needs clarity; crush n run- The original contract asked for us to clear/prep property and install the crush n run driveway, however, prior to our field start the client requested that she hire this work outside of our contract. There was a credit given for this on a change order. Additionally, on a later change order we were asked to prep & install a construction grade driveway due to the property being under plowed by the original grader and cost difference compared to crush n run.
