March 8, 2023 my best friend Joy and i made appointments for April 19th, 2023, hers at 11:30, mine at 12. Well yesterday April 18th, 2023 at 8:20am I received a message to confirm my appointment. At 8:24am I sent a Y as prompted. Today April 19, 2023 (Forest Acres) Joy and I drove the hour and a half drive for our appointments. We arrived at 11:20am. Joy checked in and then I tried to check in. They could not find my appointment it had been cancelled April 18. She offered me and enhancement with my next service. I accepted it and sat down to sit and wait on Joy. Well Joy suggested I look for a different Massage Envy they may have options at other locations. I go up front and ask the receptionist to help me find a different option. She calls Harbison and they have availability at 12 for an hour massage. I have already driven an hour and a half to come to Massage Envy with Joy and I had to leave her and drive another 30 minutes and i have to drive another 30 minutes back to pick her up. I arrive at Harbison And I wait on Pearl. While I am waiting I am informed she is stuck in traffic. But I speak to Pearl she informs me that's not true that they failed to even let her know there was a last minute appointment and she had called to double check. Thats how I got my massage today, sounds relaxing right? Well Pearl was very accommodating and she was lovely. So after leaving Harbison I head back to Forest Acres. I pick up Joy and we leave. So after I left she went back in the lobby because I had left in a hurry and didn't tell her I was leaving. The receptionist got her name and informed Joy that her massage therapist was out sick there was no one to give her a massage. Well my Joy asked if there was anyone who could do a stretch or a facial. There was not. Well right when she was about to walk out to go across the street to entertain herself while she waited on me an individual came in early and offered to do the massage. There is a serious communication problem.
