I bought my 2020 Slingshot in January 2023, and they gave me a one year warranty. I travel a lot, so I don’t get to ride it very often. Fast forward to October, I got gas and when I pulled out of the gas station the entire passenger side filled up with smoke. I took it to a REPUTABLE slingshot dealer to have it checked out. Only to be told three out of the four cylinders were damaged beyond specs. I followed THE WARRANTY procedure to get the repairs. They told me that the repair cost was “excessive” and they wanted to purchase an used, untested motor to have the REPUTABLE company to use. The REPUTABLE company doesn’t usually deal with used parts, but due to the cost of repairs they made an exception. When they contacted the warranty company to try to get info on the motor, they never received any feedback. After several attempts to contact Branden at Capital City Cycles, only to be put on hold each time for over 10 minutes, which he never answered. I have not received any responses. So here it is February 2024, I am paying for a $22,000 slingshot that I have put less than 1500 miles on it and has been in the shop since November 2023.

Although an unfortunate situation, Mr. T***** purchased the Slingshot as-is no warranty. Mr. T***** purchased an extended service contract through Riders Advantage to cover mechanical failures. The issue that Mr. T***** has is with Riders Advantage and the company that is repairing the vehicle. The complaint should be with those companies and not Capital City Cycles.

They’ll trick you into buying a broken bike. Bought a 250 virago for my son as his first bike the thing lasted 2 months until the engine blew due to maintenance problems that came with the bike. They’ll say and do anything to get your hard earned money.

They were very rude, inconsiderate and treated me the customer unfairly.. showing little respect for customers. I've never been treated so unfair in my life all because I question them about maintenance on bike. Making sure it was fix to our agreement. All because just a few weeks ago my other bike was said to be fix but was not fix nor rideable... Even after I paid total amount. On top it off refuse to take my check for repairs all because they were questioned about service. maintenance guy Anthony and finance manager, also lady at front desk was terrible acting in front of others.. I was very disappointed in them .then had the nerves to say we were acting weird like we didn't have no money.. like we did not brought 3 bikes from them.. paying cash/check for them.. They should at least apologize for their actions. Praying the bike is fix and we never need them again.. I will not recommend them to anyone ever..
