The service department is completely untrustworthy and unprofessional. I spoke with them once on the phone and once in person before dropping my car off for a repair that Firestone told me would be covered under my warranty. They assured me it was covered and promised that if I dropped my car off Monday night it would be completed by the end of the day Tuesday. My car sat on their lot until Thursday without anyone looking at it despite my repeated calls for updates. On Thursday I finally told them I needed to pick my car up since we were leaving for vacation Friday. I picked my car up without anyone ever looking at it despite it being there for 3 days after being told it would be completed the next day. I received no apology or explanation as to why my car hadn't been looked at. I will never leave my car with them again. The whole experience screams that they were stalling to try to avoid working on a car covered under warranty. Completely unprofessional.JT'S KIA

Was looking for a good deal on a car for my g daughter and I heard a radio advertisement on Kia Reos. Went into dealership was met by salesman Michael we went over to his desk to ask questions and to discuss what we were looking for and some different options as to best way to finance for her. When I brought up the radio advertisement he went into lecture about not honoring those because their was not enough airtime for them to state fine print on offers. Came down to not one offer or special was going to be offered. I feel that their airtime on radio was very misleading and salesman was not interested in making a sale happen by offering any compromise and manager never responded to any of my frustration as being falsely led to come there . . They did have a soul on sale at good price we were still considering a sale but by this time we had been there 3 hrs and it was late so we decided to pass . am glad we did after checking BBB this morning and seeing that no one is happy going to JTs and being treated as a valuable customer ..JT'S KIA

My purchase process was no problem. Service has been a nightmare, since August 2022 I have been complaining about my brakes and routers, just to continuously be told they didn't find an issue. I continue my service warranty and to my advantage use my oil changes just to recently picked up my vehicle and discover that my oil was bone dry with meter readings altered. I've gotten the run around for a week, and this issue could have been resolved by now, just fix it! I can't believe their service department is this negligent…JT'S KIA

Would not recommend. Lying on credit applications just to get approvals. Also down payments are illegal! I requested my down payment since January and no response! They are wrong for that bogus contract!JT'S KIA

Unfortunately, this is inaccurate. At the time of sale the customer provided us with proof of income in the form of paystubs that were required and verified by the lender.Review fromSamuel K

1 starBuying a preowned 2023 Kia Seltos, from JT Kia of Columbia, SC. After completing deal, I discovered a chip in the hood. This was 1/28/23. I was told to bring the car back on 1/30/23 and the repair would be made They realized that the chip was in a crease of the hood. They said they would call me the next week. So on the 2/8/23 I called Timothy Thompson (sales agent). He called me back. And said that he would call on Saturday (2/11/23). No one has called yet, (2/21/23.Review fromalan k

not happy in any way or form, found a 2012 lexus with 59000 miles 0n sale 17,995 at jts kia, called and they made me appt. for 1:30 the next day. went and was told I had to finance with them to get price, and told it would be the same rate. I had a new salesperson who was very nice.I found out he wasn't told about the finance part. I was told it was going to be 66 dollars extra a month, at which time I said no thanks to protection plan. after signing a bunch on there tablet I asked if finance rate was what I wanted and he said no and asked me that and he was upset and got his manager who told me to refinance with bank. I was upset we have been 3 hrs and I told him me and my disabled wife had to go. we got the car cause my wife fit in it, and her walker fit in the trunk. on the way home I heard a noise at 45 mph and above. took it to a shop and was told it wasn't safe to drive. told them about it and they never got back to me. A week or so went by and I received a text one of many wanting me to tell what a great experience I had, at that time I told them I was not happy since nobody got back to me and should I just call the BBB and within minutes I was called back. I told him how I have spent over 1,500 dollars to make the car safe to drive and he said he would give me 350 dollars, and when I said and that's not all, ! told him the sale price was 1,795, but they charged 1,995 he told me he would get back to me between 9 and 10 tomorrow morning. that was a week ago. I just said I would warn folks if your old and have good credit beware.JT'S KIA

My 2015 Kia engine (which is paid for) had a noise and I called Kia because I already knew they had engine problems and had recalls. They told me not to drive the car and not crank it up because it may go into safe mode. She stated its probably the Knock sensor that has a recall and once replaced if that doesn't work Kia will change the engine out. Great I said and had the car towed; I live an hour away and found someone cheap to tow the vehicle for $150. I get to JT's Kia of Columbia where I purchased the car and spoke to the Service agent. I told him what happened, and he stated well if its the engine we will not replace it. I was like what? You have recalls on the vehicle and they need to be replaced. He then stated I cant get to it for about two weeks because we are so far behind. I stated ok no problem, where do you want the car dropped off and we will leave the keys in it. He never one time got up to assist or anything. I dropped the car off and was driving back home when he calls me back and stated that there is a charge of $175 to even look at the car. I explained that I should not have to pay for recall parts. He stated that there was a recall that was sent out in 2019 to update the engine and because I failed to have that done, they were not going to fix anything on the vehicle. I told him I need to speak to a manager or the corporate office. He gave me the number to Corp and stated I wish you good luck with that but they aint going to do nothing. We spent several hrs trying to talk to someone for two days and finally got someone to talk to about the issues of the recalls. They stated they sent paperwork out in 2018 and a second notice in 2019 and because I didnt respond they werent going to do anything to the vehicle. So now I have a car that is basically junk and they want do the recalls on it now. I was under the impression that recalls are supposed to be done at no cost to the owner and its a 8yr statute on getting it corrected.JT'S KIA

I didn't want to make this review but I am very upset about the situation as a whole. 2018 kia sedona only 26k miles had a failed catalytic converter, they saw me quickly got an oil change. I thought all was well, the part of ordered and confirmed on Feb 28. Appointment was made for March 26, I took the day off and I even looking at getting the new mini can they had in the place of the Sedona. The salesman was great my Appointment was at 11am it took about 1 hour too build my new mini van I thought I was getting. Well I was at this site until 5 to 6 pm just find out that hey they ordered the wrong part!!!!! They had it for a month I was sitting for hours just have to the wrong part. They gave me loaner to go home I in with half a tank of gas!!!!! I came from Florence to Columbia, they gave enough to get home but not get back!! They got my car on a Monday they told me when my car was going to be done before I left. Like I would believe that right? I figured they were would call me to say repairs are done. Well they didn't in fact I had to call twice because no one called me back after my first call. Picked up my van on Thursday about 7 pm. Drove less then 5 miles my van freaks out at Rushes drive thru. Lights blinking, engine revving up and down and just dies. I called the dealership back where I returned the loaner no one would help me. In fact the guy told us he wouldn't help me and call the hotline for help. He was saying "it is the alternator or battery!" They were no help!!! Called the holiness at 7 30 pm. No one came to help me until 1am! Just found out it wasn't the Battery according the pick up guy it was the alternator. KIA advised we can't test to see if a battery was bad. But!!!! When my converter was fixed under warranty the receipt advised an inspection was done. I was stranded for hours!!!!! Long story short I paid 1300 to fix this issue that Florence Kia the Amp failed due to an improper charge that blew the Amp and killed the battery and the alternatJT'S KIA
