On Sept. 10,2022 I gave a cash deposit of $4500.00 to *******************, owner of Gutter-done seamless, for the installation of a 4 foot black rod iron fence around my back yard. He said he needed cash so he could purchase the fence from his supplier. We had work done before from him and he was always very upfront and honest so we trusted him with our fence project. The fence was supposed to be installed within a week or so. I kept calling him to get a definite date for the install, he always had an excuse such as he was busy or he was waiting for parts of the fence to come in. After awhile he stopped answering my calls and txts. My husband called him in Dec from his cell phone and **** answered since he didn't recognize the number. He seemed surprised when he found out who it was, and told my husband he had been away on personal business, then he said he had been in ********** ** undergoing rehab for an addiction to pain meds from a previous accident and would get the fence the following week. Well it has been another 6 weeks and counting and he is not answering our calls or txts again. We are new to the area and are senior citizens. It seems to me he is scamming us for our $4500. we live on a fixed income of social security and cannot afford to lose this money. We worked hard all our lives and saved. Please help us.
