      When I moved into my apartment, it was called ******* at **** ****. I received notification at the end of October that ******* at **** **** got brought out by ********* at **** ****. While still under the previous management company, I renewed my lease. I have a copy of my signed lease. However, I keep receiving notification that I have not renewed and that I will be charged more monthly. In November, I spoke with someone in the office regarding the situation and was assured the situation was rectified and I heard nothing since. But then, on January 26th, I received an urgent email that I need to renew my lease or pay a higher price monthly Starting Feb. 1st. There are no other notifications in between speaking with someone in November and receiving the email on January 26th about this issue. Also, I cancelled my rental insurance with Lemonade because the same person at the office told me that they provide cheaper insurance and it will be added to my lease agreement. I would like to also make sure that has been done as well.

      I have checked with the property and I can confirm that the lease which resident has provided has been uploaded and the account in our records are in agreement with it.  Our on site staff have attempted to contact resident both by phone and email with no response.  We have added the insurance to her account and she can reach out to the property staff to confirm.

      I received an unclaimed property letter. I was owed $ 195.00 by Southwood Realty. I responded on 8/13/22. The affirmative response was required by 9/6/22 long before the deadline. When December arrived and still no check I began calling. There are two printed phone numbers. Both were to Southwood Realty. They feigned ignorance but I was able to eventually ascertain that Southwood marked the claim as resolved. I was given two dates one on September 21,22, and October 27,22. I was given several numbers to call and none resulted in little more than we are not going to refund your money. ****** ****** is Southwood. New Mexico Unclaimed Property Office says they have received no monies from Southwood notified me that by law Southwood is required to provide proof of resolution. I know I have not received my check for $ 195.00. They refuse to provide either the proof of the distribution of the check. Southwood has retained all the funds despite this being against the law. Property I lived at was at *** ********** ***** ************, NC apt. ***.

      Please see attached copy of the check in the amount of $195.00 that was cashed and endorsed by ****** ******.  According to our records this check was reissued along with a check for $444.84 which was cashed as well by Ms. ******.  

      We feel that this issues is resolved and closed.
