I fell into financial hardship in June and I haven’t been able to pay the balance on my bill. Ever since then I have been getting several phone calls to my own phone to the point I had to block the number. Now I am getting collection calls to my job every other day and it is putting my employment in jeopardy since we aren’t allowed to receive personal calls on the job. I would like someone from corporate to contact me so we can reach a resolution.

I received a letter from your company stating that you are attempting to collect an alleged debt. For starters, I do not owe your company any money, for two how in the world are you collecting a debt on behalf of another collection company? So, are you insinuating that I had an account or some type of credit was lent to me on behalf of Credit Central? I have not done any business with your company or any other company involved. I need you to provide legal proof that I have the right to do business with you, what bounds me to you? What kind of business dealings have I done with you? Please provide me with a full debt validation, I am demanding that you remove this account from my credit reports at once, it is absorbed that your company would put something like this on my credit file. Not only do I not owe you any money, but I know for sure that a collection cannot collect a debt on behalf of another. My lawyer has advised me to contact the FTC as well as the CFPB which I have done so. I am currently waiting on the hard copy of the police report that I have filed against your company and all companies involved in allowing this false account to be reported to my credit file. Please remove this account in 3 business days from this letter. This false account has tarnished my credit file. I hereby state that the information above is true, to the best of my knowledge. I also confirm that the information here is both accurate and complete and relevant information has not been omitted. REMOVE ACCOUNT “CREDIT CENTAL $532”

I took out a small loan back in 2020 because money was tight and it was Christmas time. I fell sick with Covid and was unable to make my first payment. Tried to contact them to work out a payment arrangement and was told by the manager at the ********** TN location that “ it’s not my problem and that they’ll get their money one way or another”. So I stopped trying to work it out and got behind even more. 3-4 months later I was done with the harassing phone calls, texts and visits. They had called my fiancé at that time even and her grandparents while we were dealing with cancer in the family. They’ve caused so much grieve that I went into the branch to try and settle this. A new manager was there and when I explained the situation of the prior manager and her conduct, I was told by Michelle that “ the prior manager is no longer here due to how she’s conducted herself with others”. I would’ve never got this far behind if the lady hadn’t been so rude and nasty to begin with. We set up a payment arrangement to get myself back on track but fail behind again. I was told it’s to late and it’ll go to legal. I’ve tried contacting legal and keep being told “ the manager will call me” and it never happens. I’ve offered a settlement and was told it was not going to be enough. I’m willing to settle but I want this off my credit report. I’ll await for a response from credit central.
