1 starI love how brandi respones to my review by calling me am angry tenant. No one is angry i am just expressing my opinion as is everyone else who has left a review. As far the the nearly 4k that I owe your company, no one skipped out on anything. What damages may i ask are you referring to ,because i have photos that show otherwise. All unwanted items were left at the curb for the trash people to pick up. Your company decided to take it upon themselves the remove the trash. I broke my lease because i was purchasing a house, which i told kelly. I e-mailer her before my 2nd lease even started but she said my lease was already signed so she couldn't changed anything. So i broke my lease to keep from making your CEO hunter any richer than he already is. As far as the 1 st house I rented you claim you took a chance on letting me rent from you again. Ha! That's a laugh. The BBB is intended to customers to come and air their complaints and concerns. How you chose to respond is on you. If you continue to slander my name I will get legal representation.Review fromNija K

If i could give zero stars i would. This company is a bunch of liara and thieves. They will nickle and dime you for everything. They dont give a damn about the tenants, only the homeowners. I rented from them for 2 years and am happy i am done. For one they have stopped allowing people to just walk into the office, now everything is virtual. They never answer the phone it always goes the call center who then reports that a tenant or whoever is calling. They are definitely brave over email, they will disrespect you over email put its a totally different story when you are on the phone with them. The first house i rented from them had mice. I told them after i found droppings in my cabinet and nothing was done about it. I had to get ny own exterminator to solve the problem. The house i just left was definitely not worth the amount of rent i paid. The house was not leveled, the fence was broken if you could call it a fence. When i moved in there was beer cans and broken glass in the backyard. I lived there for a year and only went in the backyard to cut the grass. Now lets get the employees. Kelly she is ok for the most part, but she is just the middle man. She has zero control over anything. Brandi, that woman can use a lesson in customer service. She is the rudest person i have ever delt with when it comes to renting. She should not be a property manager. She is definitely a keyboard gangster. She loves to talk bug game over email, but she takes a different tone once on the phone. I've told her myself she needed to learn customer service after she changed the date of my home inspection knowing that i wanted to be there. I wanted to be there because i dont trust her. She loves to threaten you with fees. "Oh it you dont cut the grass there will be a fee." They definitely stressed about cutting grass that was knee high when i moved into the first house. Beware of these people!Marchant Property Management, LLC

This review is from a disgruntled tenant that has broken their lease and skipped out owing over $3K, not including the damanges that were done. Below is the response to the review she left for us. We sincerely appreciate your candid feedback and are genuinely sorry to hear about the negative experience you feel you have encountered recently. Your perspective is invaluable to us, and we deeply regret that we fell short of your expectations during this second leasing experience. First and foremost, we want to express our gratitude for choosing MPM not just once, but actually 3 times over the last 26 months, leasing 2 properties, and renewing the lease on the second. We're disappointed that your most recent experience has led you to reconsider your opinion. We acknowledge your concerns regarding the issues you've faced, specifically the challenges related to communication and professionalism. It's important to us that all of our interactions are respectful and efficient, and we apologize if you felt that this was not the case during your recent engagement with our team. We absolutely agree that consistency and fairness in our contractual agreements are of utmost importance. Our aim is to create a transparent and equitable living environment for all our residents. We do understand that sometimes adhering to these terms might not align perfectly with individual preferences, and we apologize for any displeasure this may have caused. Regarding the issue of routine inspections, we want to clarify that the scheduling of these inspections is indeed outlined in the lease agreement, and we appreciate your acknowledgment of this clause. While we do strive to provide as much flexibility as possible, it's important to mention that we rely on third-party vendors to conduct these inspections. Unfortunately, this means that we might not always have full control over the timing of these appointments, as the schedules of these vendors can be variable. We understand that accommodating vendor schedules can sometimes lead to inconveniences for our tenants. This is why we allow a tenant to pick times before we have to add them to the schedule, and only those that fail to sign up are sent notice. To ensure a smoother experience for everyone involved, we also do not require your presence during these inspections. Regarding the matter of breaking your lease without proper notice or adhering to the contractual agreement, we understand the seriousness of the situation. While we strive to accommodate our tenants' needs, it's also crucial that we uphold the terms of our agreements to ensure a fair and consistent experience for all parties involved. We do remember that we extended the lease given the conditions under which you returned the first property, and we genuinely wanted to work with you to provide a comfortable living arrangement. We take your feedback seriously and are committed to addressing the issues you've highlighted. We are currently reviewing the move out inspection report, and have found the property you’ve vacated in complete disarray. We will also use this as an opportunity to reinforce our commitment to be diligent about our property inspections prior to allowing a second lease or a renewal offer. Given such documented conditions, we are surprised that you’ve reached out to change your review. If there's any way we can rectify the situation, given the documented conditions in which you returned possession of the property, or if you have any further concerns that you'd like to discuss, please don't hesitate to reach out to us directly. We genuinely care about our client’s investments and want to do everything we can to make things right. Thank you for bringing these matters to our attention. We truly hope that you'll reconsider your experience with us.Review fromJessica W

If I could leave no stars I would. This company are liars and thieves. My grandfather was renting from them and he got really ill so he was going in and out if the hospital and my home. My brother was staying with him briefly to help take care if my grandfather but my grandpa fell really ill and my brother had to go away for a while. My husband and I went and checked on my grandfather's home every other day. We knew evictions proceedings would start because we couldn't pay my grandfather's rent and take care of our home and my grandfather would be either coming to live with me for a while and then possibly a nursing home. We never seen paperwork to be served, nor a writ of ejectment although they say it was posted. We went to check on his home, and we discover the futon from an upstairs bedroom was thrown out in the yard. Ok, cool but what about his other stuff. We called and they refused to let us get his other stuff although it was still in the house. They had changed the locks even though when we went to the magistrates office they said the locks shouldn't be changed already and they should let us get his stuff. My grandfather had a lot of really nice expensive things. Then they added a $500 fee for unauthorized occupant. My husband and I had discussed paying them for breaking the lease soon, but that's not going to happen now. They can take the things they STOLE and sell them to put toward all the fees. Who does a poor old man like that?!!!! I don't recommend this property management company or anyone affiliated with them. I am a property manager and I wouldn't dare do anyone like they did and do people. God handles people like that! Karma.....Marchant Property Management, LLC
