One star only because it is required. But they don’t even deserve one star. Crooks. Settled a debit 12 months ago that after numerous phone calls is still showing up on my credit report as a charged off account with interest and penalties of almost $3 per day adding up. My account shows my last payment made after the settlement but balance has not been zeroed out. Derogatory remarks left. Not marked as settled. Bringing credit score down every month. Called 3 times and they keep saying they will fix it but never have.

I'm tired of asking for a balance receipt to Regional Finance **** ***** ****** ***** * ** ** ***** **. . I make my payments over the phone and they can't tell me my balance because it takes time the system deducts it. I request an email they say, they don't do that. I request to mail it to my house, they say, "YES", and never happens. I am tired of this company and regret making business with them. If you have one in your area, please don't go there.

Sad Sad Sad!!! This operation is the worse. Every month I make my payments on time, but when I check my account balance it’s going up instead of down. I’ve called twice for an explanation and received two different answers. It appears they try making it impossible to pay the loan off. I will advise people by any means not to ever use this loan company. Get The Word Out to your family, friends and neighbors

STAY AWAY!!! These *** blood suckers charged me half the amount I borrowed as interest. Borrowed 1200 and ended up paying about $2000. These vampires call and harass you. They even go to your HOUSE!!!

Regional finance takes advantage of its customers with predatory lending practices. Back in November I obtained a personal loan from them. I normally pay loans back with this company within a month or two and use them as a short term lending resource to make larger purchases or get through particular time frames. The site specifically states that loan interest rates can be anywhere from 24% to 34.99% for loans spanning anywhere from 24 months on up. I received $2000 from the company. I made a full payment of $181 in December which is the monthly payment. I made another payment in January of $1000 as well as another $1000 payment in February. I asked specifically what my pay off would be and was told it would be $347 or so which seemed high to borrow money for less than four months but decided to not make an issue. I reached back out on the 13th of March to see what a pay off would be for the 1st of April and was told that my payoff would be $687. I was confused nevertheless. I asked how this was possible and was told that the interest from the 20th of March until the 1st of April would be $340. I was under the impression that interest can only be charged on money you owe not money you don’t owe. I was informed that the interest rate on the funds I borrowed was 80% APR!! I understand I should’ve paid closer attention to the contract I was signing but I would’ve never believed that this was possible!! I contacted the home office immediately and requested for a supervisor to reach out to me as soon as possible. I’ve not received any correspondence regarding this issue. I’m in disbelief that I could possibly be charged $868 dollars in interest total to borrow funds for less than 4 months!! I’m also bothered that this is nowhere on the website clearly stated that you can be charged 80% interest on any loan product of any kind. I’m extremely disappointed with this company. The branch customer service is great. I only have any issue with the company unethical practices.

Predatory loans. Harassment calls during working hours. I wouldn’t recommend even if it’s to save a life!

My elderly mother received a "check" for a $1500 loan. The terms are what caused me to write this review. The terms are 64.98% APR. For 24 payments on a $1500 loan, plus $1,215.36 finance charge, plus $100 origination fee, the total amount repaid in 2 years is $2,715.36. IF someone needed a loan for $1500 then I'm pretty certain they couldn't afford monthly payments at 65.98% APR. Seems like that % rate should be against some law.

Dont do business with these people, they're scammers looking for a sucker to cash the check they send to "people with good credit" I have good credit and money in the bank. Why would I borrow 2,600 bucks that would cost me over 35.99% interest? Apparently, I was on a list according to the girl I talked to ant the office in San Bernardino. This needs to stop! 35.99% interest? give me a break! SCAMMERS!

I’ve had an account open with community credit for a year now. Yes there’s been times where I didn’t make my payment on time but would always let them know ahead of time I need to reschedule my payment. There was a time they charged my card for 2 payments. One was a late payment and the other payment was for an upcoming payment that was due in 2 weeks. I never gave them consent to run that second payment. Each and every time it’s always an excuse as to why they can’t do it and run my card anyway. Overdrawing my account. My loan agreement states my payments are due on the 9th of every month. Today is the 6th and I get a voicemail from the manager being rude saying how he doesn’t know how many times I’ve been late on making my payments but it’s every month I’m late. So I call back and as soon as he gets on the phone he give me straight attitude. I tell him I don’t appreciate the voicemail he left me he cuts me off by saying how about you make your payments on time how about that. I went off on him including how they always say they’re there to work with you and they don’t. There’s been other issues I’ve had with this business in the past but it’s too much to type. But you’ll be better off getting a loan somewhere else
