I purchased a new 2022 Rav 4 Toyota from Toyota of Greer. I went back about three days later and was highly pressured in to buying a 2022 Toyota Tacoma. When I purchased the RAV 4, I was told by the finance man that the printer was not working and he had me sign on a Ipad. I repeatedly asked him if the contract had warranties. He said no warranties were on the loan. I told him I do not want any kind of warranty. He did not give me any copies of paperwork he said because the printer was not working but he did give me a thumb drive. When I came home, I loaded the thumb drive but the contract was not on it. When I went in to look at a truck, I told him it was not on the thumb drive. He said he would add it to the Toyota Tacoma drive. I test drove the truck and went to the finance office. He had the paperwork ready and said it would be 19% interest. I told him I would not sign 19%. The sales man and the finance man was very pushy and telling me I needed to sign, that it was a good deal and I could pay it off early and I would not have that much interest. I asked if I could go to lunch and think about. They were persistent that I needed to sign and not leave the building. The finance director came in and told the finance man to do something about the loan for the RAV 4 and then he said my interest rate would drop to 12%. I kept telling him I did not want the warranty. He said I could drop it anytime. When I looked at my paperwork I have 4000 of warranties on the RAV 4 and 3000 on the Tacoma plus a 'ETCH' fee of 1299.00. I have asked repeatedly for these to be removed and the contracts to be redone. I have sent emails and left message for the general manager and also for the finance director no one is returning my calls or answering my emails. The finance company for the Tacoma said they would not fund the deal until I was happy with the situation. They were persistent I did not leave the business until I signed for the Tacoma. Please help!

      Good afternoon,

As soon as the BBB sent my complaint to the general manager at Toyota of Greer, I had several people to call me to try and get things worked out.  I did go to the business Saturday and worked things out with the finance manager.

What do I need to do with my complaint with the BBB?

      Thank you

On 1/23/22 ordered RAV4 2022,was delivered on 3/11/22.Happy with vehicle, but when I got home noticed no floor mats in vehicle. Called dealership, my salesperson and got nothing only runaround. Stated he had to look at bill? We put 34,000 down, cash, and to be treated like this is awful. I only want floor mats for my car, to not give them to us is absurd, and not get an answer is worse! I want floor mats for this $44,000 vehicle.this should not be a big deal.

In Sept.2021, I purchased a 2020 Dodge Ram Pickup from Toyota of Greer in SC. Toyota Of Greer, Sent the truck to have a RV hitch installed as part of the deal. When complete. I took delivery of the truck (at night) and the next day noticed damage with a silver dollar size ( or bigger) hole in the rear bumper, with a charred /burnt wiring harness leading to the trailer light receptacle. when I checked the receptacle it did not work. I called and spoke to my salesman (Sean) who stated he did not know anything about the damage. I continued to call periodically and was eventually told they would have the hitch installation company fix the damage and a new wiring harness was on order. it has now been six months, and there has not been any response, no repair and no indication that Toyota of Greer will fix the damage. I just would like to have my truck fixed. thank you ******** ********

I got a call from Toyota of Greer in October to see if I wanted to come in a year early and take care of my leased vehicle. (trade, return, or buy) I went one evening after work and talked with a salesman named Chris. I told him REPEATEDLY that I wanted to give it back and would consider trading for a used vehicle if they had something I liked that I could get my payments really low. We decided on a 2016 Subaru Forrester. He and the Sales manager got my payments down to 149.00 a month. We did the paperwork and even asked if they were sure I could get it on just my income or if they thought my husband should sign too. When we went into the finance officers office, Brooke B*****, she said the same thing. Then she convinced us to try a warrantee that could be cancelled before 90 days and it wouldn't cost me anything if it was cancelled on time. I made SURE to ask her if we cancelled it would my payments go back down to the 149.00 a month! She said yes, it will drop off the loan! It does, but only off the back of the loan, not putting my payments back to where we negotiated them to be! They tried several times to get the vehicle financed and after 2 months finally got it done but now that I want to drop the warrantee my payments are higher than I wanted them to be! She lied to me. The sales rep was supposed to have my car detailed as part of the agreement. I have been twice and sat for 2 hours and it NEVER got detailed! I have called the manager and left messages and he never called! I had to go to the office after Toyota Finance called me 3 times looking for their payoff! None of the other stuff matters to me except my monthly payments!! I would NEVER EVER have agreed to this payment with my husband retiring in January!

I purchased a 2012 Ram 1500 from a sales girl Kelly. The next day the truck would not start. this was because the fuel pump relay in the TIPM had failed . this is common with all Dodge /Ram vehicles. correct fix is to replace TIPM assembly being relay is soldered to board and not replaceable . I called Kelly and she stated to bring it in. I met with Jackson in service and we spoke with Tech , which stated being it was not Toyota they didn't know what to do. I left vehicle with Toyota and Kelly was nice enough to get me a loaner. The next day I picked the truck up where they sent it somewhere to get repaired. the next morning the truck would not start and had codes and trans service light on. upon inspection i found an added relay and several wires were cut in my wire harness which this relay was connected to. this caused the fuel pump to run all the time . I called Toyota and spoke with Jackson in service and he referred me to Kelly who intern referred me to Scott who I left a message with. for the two weeks or more i have been leaving messages with reception for Scott the used car sales manager , the general manager and Mark E***** the co owner. none of which has yet to call me back. Being an ASE / EVT tech for 35 years I repaired it with a rebuilt TIPM and fixed the wiring . at the cost of $400.00. All I would like is a payment for the part being my vehicle was broken down the day after purchase and down for two weeks after. the Truck is running fine now with no codes. I think its only fair I be reimbursed after all I barely made it off the lot with the vehicle and how i have been treated with NO return calls. the funny thing is when I called no-one was ever in ," But I will place your number on their desk" per the receptionist . Also I even tried to email one of the co owners Mark E***** with return mail not a valid email address

On September 17th 2021 I was at Greer Toyota in South Carolina and was interested in upgrading my vehicle to a new used vehicle. A Toyota 4runner(SUV) was presented to me and I mentioned that I needed to speak to my credit union before closing the deal. I had a bill summary, trade in, pay off and how much the new vehicle would cost me. After speaking to my credit union and being denied credit. I returned to Mark and Kelly the sales associates that were assisting me and informed them that I was backing out of the deal due to not being approved for a line of credit. Mark then used pressure techniques to tell me, "well we have done all of this and there's one little hick up and you are not having second thoughts." He wouldn't let me leave with out continuing to tell me and enforce feelings of guilt and shame on me that he did all this work and he just needs on credit pull and then he could get me a lower payment. He continued to say that he wanted a signature or initials on the paperw
