I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and frustration with the experience I have had as a timeshare owner at this establishment. In September 1985, I visited your resort with my children after tragically losing my husband to cancer earlier that year. Your salespeople were aware of my vulnerable emotional state, and I believe they took advantage of this by pressuring me into purchasing a timeshare. They promised that it would provide an affordable vacation option for my family and allow us to visit my late husband's parents while enjoying a pleasant getaway. I was led to believe that the only cost associated with the timeshare would be the maintenance fees, which I was assured would not increase. Unfortunately, my experience with this timeshare has been far from satisfactory. I have only been able to use it twice in over three decades, and my family members who have used it reported unsatisfactory conditions, such as dirty accommodations requiring relocation to another facility. Additionally, the maintenance fees have become unreasonably high, making it even more difficult for me to justify the expense of the timeshare. I am now retired and living on a fixed income, making it impossible for me to continue paying the exorbitant maintenance fees. Furthermore, my current husband has serious health issues that prevent us from using the timeshare. It is unjust to burden my daughter with the responsibility of inheriting this timeshare, especially when she has expressed no interest in it. Due to my experience and current situation, I deserve to be released from this contract.
