    My wife, *** **** and I met with Mr. *** ******, owner of World Travel Club 365, LLC ("World Travel") on Nov 9, 2023 and purchased a membership in the ********* Vacation Club, with the option to cancel that purchase for a full refund if we provided written notice of that decision within 3 weekdays. We did provide that written notice within 3 weekdays and requested a refund of our $6526.00. We were very disappointed with poor response to our inquiries, and lack of response to refund our money, during the next six weeks. In Dec 2023, World Travel proposed a 6-month trial period, with "prompt" reimbursement of $7025.00 to me by contract if I/we were not satisfied with the club services during the 6 months and gave written notice. We agreed, and that contract between World Travel Club 365 and ******* *** was signed on January 23, 2024. I/we tried the vacation club services during the next 5 months and were very disappointed and unsatisfied. On June 21, 2024, I gave written notice to Mr. *** ****** that we were unsatisfied with the club services and requested reimbursement of $7025.00 by World Travel in accordance with our Jan 23, 2024 contract. The next 6 months were a very disappointing time in which I reached out and contacted Mr. *** ****** over 17 times by text messages, phone calls and voicemails. He responded 12 times, starting on July 11 and 15 by saying "I will get it taken care of". As the months dragged on, he responded similarly, saying he would work on it, or get it taken care of, or that he was "working with corporate", or that he was out of state caring for his Mother and would be back to his office the following week. The "prompt" reimbursement still has not happened. I want prompt reimbursement within 21 days.

    I am rejecting this response because:   I am grateful that World Travel Club 365 has contacted me, and stated that "we are working things out".  But similar statements of "working on it" and "working things out" over the last half year, without any resulting action, has been the cause of my submitting a BBB complaint.  I will be satisfied, and this complaint will be resolved, when World Travel Club 365 provides me with reimbursement of $7025.00, as defined in our agreement (attached to my original BBB complaint.  I look forward to prompt action by the Club, and I will notify BBB promptly when this reimbursement has been made.

    On March 3rd, 2024 I spoke with *** ****** after seeing an advertisement on how to get out of my timeshare ( Time Share Relief )with ********. *** ****** put me in contact ******* ******** who sold me the idea that for $8000.00 he can start the process of getting me out of my Westgate timeshare and as a bonus include usage of RCI/DreamStar/World Travel club benefits. Also at the end of paying off the the $8000.00 we ( my wife and I ) will be able to use the benenfit offered for only ****** a month fully after the timeshare relief is completed. It sounded like a good deal. So we took out a loan at ******* ******** recommendation with ************************ Serives for the cost of the Time share relief of *********. After getting approved for the loan and making a few payments. I recieved an email rom a company called Tradebloc ( ******* ***** )who stated they were going to assist with TimShare Exit getting relief from the timeshare. After informing us that they will monitor the credit reports, contact ******** to start the process of exiting. After a few month I receive another email outling the exit details. 3 option in total. Option # 1 - ************* Center Transfer Settlement Offer, Option # 2 - Strategic Default with Recital and Timeshare Credit Protection Policy: which cost an additional $2,695, and Option # 2 - Strategic Default with Recital and Timeshare Credit Protection Policy. I asked why the additional $2,695 when I am ahave a loan for this exit process of ******. They explain that the 10K has nothing to do with them and to contact WorldTravel. I contacted WorldStar who then stated that the 10k was towards a travel club and not the time share relief as I was told and what the actual loan states it is for. Being that was not trying to sign up for a travel/vacation club and was misled into believing the 10K loan was going toward that exiting my timeshare. I want the loan cancelled and my money return.

    I am rejecting this response because: The Timeshare relief is not working and the loan that has been taken for this benefits the vacation club more than relieving me of the timeshre. My credit score has dropped signifigantly and now I am not even able to afford a vacation. My wife who was told that this process  would remove me from the timeshare so she agreed to the loan but as stated above this loan is not for timeshre reliefe but a prelude to the vacation club. We feel that the misinformation provided and the true intention was not provided.

    During this phase, the time share company has again reached out to me and after explaining the supposed exit plan has agreed to redo the contract and wipe the slate ( non payments due to the supposed exit assistance) and update my credit report.

    Please cancel the loan / travel club membership so we can all move forward.

    In order to get the full benefits of the attorny's help I have to provide and additional $3000 ( last offer was $1500 ) so I go sued but run the risk of a tax problem? This has already casue me hardships and when I tried to call to restructure the repayment of the $10K i have note recevied a callback to provide so level of relief during the process but I bet if i wanted to use the vacation package I would get a call back or assistance.

    I paid $2300 to World Travel club on Dec 2022 to rid me of another vacation club I had joined. It was called ********************** I was told it may ***********-12 months to resolve. To make a long story short. WTC, ala *******************, never paid the lawyers to process. I had to get involved with an intermediary that *** told me to call and he did NOTHING. Then I had to find and call the Legal team in ********** that was suppose to be working my claim. The knew nothing at the time in October of 2023. Finally my wife and i had called *** on several occasions to get my $2300 back and he keeps refusing to do so and now does not answer my calls. I am FED UP to say the least. I just want my $2300 back for non performance and will handle Palmera a different way. Thank you for your understanding. I can provide additional documentation if needed, however *** has never disputed that he received the $2300.

    was a person that she bought without her husband. He was ****** and wanted her to get her money back. There are no illegal practices going on here and the product is amazing. She told me she would try to discredit us if she did not get her money back.

    They were going to assist in exiting my timeshare. Said they got me a loan to pay maintenance fee and give me a little cash. The bank sent the money to *** and has requested it back and WTC is not returning the money which Im on hook for

    On 2/20/20 we purchased a RCI Dream Star membership from World Travel Club 365 for $6000.00. We were unsure if we wanted to sign-up. ******************* assured us he and his business on of the highest standard and anyone not would make it on ***********. *** produced a document on his letterhead and his signature stating he would buy the memebership back at full price. After a year we contacted World Travel Club 365 expressing our desire to get our money back. *** suggested we sell it through RCI Dream Star Resorts. We signed for that with an asking price of $6000 on 0406/22. We receiced no offers. On 04/20/23 we lowered the price to $5000, still no offers. Starting in April of 2023 I began contacting World Travel Club requesting our refund. I have tried texting, e-mailing, and calling. I have received no response or a promise call back , that never happened. It seams ******************* no intention to honnor his word.

    I reached out to the customer via email on 02/19/2024, The letter provided to the customer says " this letter is to clarify that if ****************** don't like the vacation club that they purchased with us today after being a member for 1 year. Then we will sell their membership for the amount purchased".  

     

    • As per the letter mentioned reads these services have already been provided the vacation club has been listed for sell. 

     

    *** does not work for the office of World Travel Club 365. Anything that was agreed between you and *** would need to be discussed with *** and yourself, not World Travel Club 365. 

     

    Their was never a refund agreement between ****************** and World Travel Club 365.

    The line "then we will sell their membership for the amount purchased" has not been met. *******************, not ********* stated in ********' response, has not done a thing to sell this membership. The agreement to sell is on World Travel Club letterhead and signed by *******************. Many attempts have been made to contact *** with no progress being made. The name *** was mistakenly used by me in parts of my complaint. Be assured, the complaint was intended for *******************. I feel I have been very patient in waiting for ******************* to honor his promise.

    In November 2021, I engaged Ted Morris at World Travel Club 365 to get me released from my timeshare. I paid $3,200 to him to facilitate the release. I have continually asked the status and was told I no longer owned the timeshare. I asked for documentation certifying I was no longer the owner and am not liable for the maintenance fees. They could not provide documentation. I call Marriott where I own the timeshare and was told I am still the owner. I requested a refund from World Travel Club 365. They are still giving me the runaround about the ownership. I'm a senior citizen on a fixed income and plainly told them I could not afford the $1800 maintenance fee the Marriott charges each year. I feel they prayed on me and have made no effort to fulfill the contract I signed with them. I have sent them a letter requesting a refund and have not gotten one. There is a typo in the letter I've attached where I wrote 2022 instead of 2021.

    *** ******, World Travel Club 365 has not resolved the issue of getting me out of my timeshare.  He lied to me in 2022 after I filed the complaint and told me the timeshare release would be done before I owed the maintenance fee of $1875.83 on 1/11/2023.  It was not.  I had to pay the fee.  So far, he cost me the $3200 he charged for the service and the maintenance fees for 2022 & 2023 which totaled $3,608.57.

     

    He is a lier & scam artist.  As I said, I have gone to ******** who offers a deed back program at no cost to let people get out of their timeshare and get relief from the maintenance fees.

    *** ****** of World Travel Club 365 at ****** **** ****** is a thief and liar who literally stole $13,200. from us by telling us 3 big lies. 1st Lie - *** ****** told us that the timeshare condo we bought from him in 2012 for $8,600. is now worth about $15,900. with the appreciation. We have had it for sale for over 2 years and the price has been only $1,200. for several months now, and not one offer. You hear of people selling their timeshares for $1., or even paying a company to take it from them. *** knew this, timeshare is his business. ***** 2nd Lie - You can easily sell your Timeshare and buy Club *********, which is much better, then keep the difference of $2,700. from selling the timeshare. Club ********* is NOT better. We paid *** ****** $13,200. for Club *********, then we find out you can buy Club ********* from their own website for $99. !!!!!! Same Everything for $99.! 3rd Big Lie - We called *** the next day after buying ********* to cancel the transaction (You have 3 days to cancel). We star*** thinking our timeshare may not sell easily like *** said. *** ****** said he would buy back ********* if we didn't like it after trying it out for 2 years. The 2 years have passed. His scam helpers said they are getting the emails and texts, but *** ****** will not even answer a text. I GAVE *** AN EASY RESOLUTION; BUY OUR TIMESHARE WHICH HE SAID WAS WORTH $15,900. FOR ONLY $1,200. - WHICH HE COULD EASILY RESELL. THEN WE WOULD IGNORE THE FACT THAT WE PAID *** $13,200. FOR ********* WHICH IS REALLY WORTH $99. We had an agreement, in an email which I have, that *** would buy back ********* for $11,000. after 2 years if we didn't like it. Obviously, *** will not pay $11,000. for something worth $99. However our timeshare should be worth $1,200. for *** to resell, but he won't lift a finger to help us after he scammed $13,101. from us for *********, and additionally $7,400. for the timeshare.     Update 12-6-22;  The real cost of Club DreamStar is unknown.  Some are getting it for $6,000., some for $7,000.  The DreamStar Company tightly guards this secret price, which makes it suspicious!  Retail distributors down play and don’t talk much about the $499. annual renewal fee.  All of the Add-ons to the annual fee were not explained to me, but it was buried in the fine print.  DreamStar is definitely not worth $6,000. plus $499. annually unless you take more than 2 weeks of vacation a year.

          Please reopen case # ******** (I believe that’s the number).   The small amount for the agreed resolution was never sent.   I called World Travel Club 365, spoke with the owner a couple times lately and advised that on Tuesday (close of the business day) time runs out without a commitment.   He told me multiple lies (which I have better documented at this point) to get me to pay almost $14,000. for a really lame travel club which we were unable to use at all in over 2 years.

     

         He didn’t even bother to send a text back about the Tuesday deadline. 

     

         Actually he wanted me to tell you that I got the name of the bad travel club wrong.  He said make something up, like it was some other travel club that cheated me.  Obviously he is very comfortable with lying, he’s a pro at it.   I said that would be crazy at this point.

    I am rejecting this response because:   1.  There are thousands of timeshares on the market for $1. (One Dollar) that won't sell, and mine was no different.  World Travel Club 365 knew this.   The BBB Review from ***** * proves it.  (Please see Attachment - ***** * Review)   ***** paid World Travel Club 365 $2,500.00 to sell her timeshare, and World Travel Club 365 could not sell it for any price.  ******* review happened well before World Travel Club 365 told me I should be able to sell my timeshare for $15,900.  Of course World Travel Club 365 does not control when timeshares sell, but they know the resale values, it's their business.  It doesn't work for World Travel Club 365 to fix a lie with the run-around. 

    2. To clarify Point-2.  We paid World Travel Club 365 $13,200.00 for the new travel club, plus - $499.00 for annual dues, which includes RCI - AND $299.00 to sell our timeshare.   Our timeshare has been listed for over 2 years for under $200.  Not one offer.   Gee, World Travel Club 365 said our timeshare condo was worth $15,900.  It's not worth $1.  They told us that big lie to sell us the other travel club that we have not used - ever.  There are no good discounts for where we want to go.   

    3.  We called World Travel Club 365 within the 3-business day window to cancel.  World Travel Club 365 said to keep the new travel club for 2 years, then if we didn't want the new travel club THEY WOULD BUY IT BACK.  I even sent a confirmation EMAIL to World Travel Club 365 within the 3-business day window.  I paid World Travel Club $13,200. for the new travel club, but in the EMAIL I said buying it back for $11,000. would be good enough.   (Please see Attachment - EMAIL to WTC 365).  Later and recently, I told World Travel Club 365 I would drop all complaints and even give them a good review if they only paid me $2,000. for this new travel club that was actually worthless to me.  The discounts for the new travel club in the ***************** ***** area are about the same as the AAA discounts, mostly under 10% - Plus there is s $499. annual fee to renew.  No wonder World Travel Club 365 won't even pay me $2,000. for this new travel club, it's not worth much.  So, I pay $13,200. for this new travel club.  I later learned many people are paying much less than half of the $13,200. for the same club!!   World Travel Club 365 took advantage of me by telling a bunch of lies.  Please don't believe anything World Travel Club 365 tells you.  Stay clear of their kiosk near the main beach.    

    There are NO False Statements in this Reply.   World Travel Club 365 has had several other bad reviews, 2 which are close together, are attached in my response.
