    Just returned from a Rental by Vacasa=These problems have significantly impacted the safety, cleanliness, and overall livability of the unit and had no choice but leave the unit.1. Sliding Doors : The tracks were extremely dirty, making it difficult to open the doors.2. Blood on Bed Skirt: 3. Fresh Urine Stains on Bedroom Floor 4. Urine-Stained Blanket: A blanket in the closet had fresh urine stains.6. Non-Functioning Light Bulbs: Several bulbs were not working. 7. Laundry Room Deadbolt: The deadbolt on the laundry door (which was an exterior door to the outside)was not functioning. Maintenance attempted repairs but was unsuccessful.8. Electrical Issues :Several outlets were covered with duct tape, and there were multiple extension cords used throughout the unit due to insufficient working outlets. Vacasa was unable to fix the issue. This presents a significant safety hazard.9. Unreliable WiFi : The WiFi repeatedly went out, causing inconvenience throughout our stay.10. Unannounced Water Shutoff : The water was unexpectedly turned off one afternoon without prior notice. 11. Cockroaches in the Bedroom: We encountered a large cockroach on the wall, which we reported to management. Later, at 4 a.m., my daughter woke up to a cockroach crawling on her face.

    Booked a late 4 day stay and on 6/16 came down with *****. Check in was to be 6/21. We contacted the business about obtaining a credit for a future stay rather than coming and contaminating the unit thus saving an extensive cleaning for the next renters booked for the day we were scheduled to leave. All we got was a run around. Multiple e mails and phone calls. Werent asking for a refund. Just a future credit. What bothered us the most is the lack of a decision. Would never consider using this company again.

    Booked a last minute trip to Hilton with Vacasa for September 11th at the Breakers. On August 24st we found out my husband has kidney cancer and needs to have surgery. I contacted customer service to check about cancelling our trip and we were told they could not give us any type of refund. I offered to provide them a letter/proof from his doctor and we were willing to pay a booking fee, but again was told they could not help us. How sad that a company has no empathy or concern for a family dealing with an unexpected health crisis. On top of facing a very stressful time in our family we are now out $700.00. I would never recommend Vacasa for any type of vacation planning.

    We have rented through Vacasa in the past and have never had to reach out to them regarding a problem with our condo until this year. They are fine when it comes to rentals until there is a problem. The unit we rented has a broken shower. I called them the day we checked in Sat and someone stopped out and said a part needed ordered. Didnt expect someone to fix it Sunday which was fine. Monday comes and no one shows up. Called again and told we will let you know when there is an update. No return call. Called again and told someone will be out between 4-6 pm. Again 6 pm comes and goes and no on shows up. I called again and someone shows up at 9 pm. Says it cant be fixed a part is needed. Today is Tuesday and I call again and told no updates on repair. Cant give me any idea if or when a repair will be done as Vacasa is outsourced so all calls go to another country. They keep saying they are sorry but not as sorry as we are. Paid for a 2 bedroom 2 bath for 2 families and we all have to use the same shower. Extremely frustrated, I have no plans to rent my vacation stay through this company in the future. I had to leave a star rating, would have preferred no stars.

    We booked a villa in ** that they canceled an hour before our flight from *****.They did put us in another place in **********. The welcome email came during our flight, the instructions were hard to sort through, went to the vacasa office and there was no welcome package, so we had no key fob, no parking permit! after hours on the phone and being put on hold they canceled our nights stay and we had to go to a local hotel at 3am! Hundreds of dollars later.hours later wasted night. What a bad way to start a birthday weekend! :( they claim the will try to find us another place third times a charm, right?!

    Do not rent from Vacasa. I went on a business trip and there was not working internet or TV at the rental. I answer phones and enter reservations so I was unable to do work from my room. Instead I had to leave. I spent 16 hours there mostly fighting with someone to get the internet going- then sleep. I left so airbnb was good and returned my 2 nights' pay, but vacasa refused to refund the night and fees so we paid over $350 for 16 hours of a living nightmare. And I almost forgot the worst part, the local owner lied to me about fixing it and hooking up her computer. She assumed if the cable tv worked, so did the internet; I insisted she try her own device and she said her computer worked without a password - lie.

    This complaint is in reference to Confirmation No. RKMQ-TE0N for a 3-night stay in Hilton Head (Hampton Place condominium) between February *****. Vacasa has not responded to my emails (two) and so frustration has set in. In short, we SPECIFICALLY stayed at this resort (and specifically used Vacasa) because of the hot tub/spa amenity. Only after our first night did I call Vacasa (Hilton Head) to ask how to turn on the spa. I was told that the spa is not heated until Mid-March and end of April (along with some other months during the year). This was highly surprising because February is the coldest month of the year and also that my confirmation and also general description of our condominium + amenities did not state this whatsoever. Again, our trip was adversely impacted by not having access to this amenity. We feel a bit slighted by conveniently (at least in our eyes) leaving this out.As for the condo, I would otherwise say it was nice, clean, and had a good location on the island.This is the second "issue" we've had with Vacasa (the other was down in Key West). I try to be fair in all of this, but we felt our money was partly wasted. It's just wrong.

    They were very difficult to work with. Refused to give me a name or number of supervisor (or anyone else) I could speak to regarding our issue. Will never rent through them again.

    Horrible experience, don't stay with them. First the property we booked supposedly had a maintenance issue 3 days before we arrived, so we had to find a different one. When we got in there was dog p*** in the bedroom and a bunch of dog fur in beds. The property had mold on the ceilings. We complained as soon as their office opened, but they kept giving us a run around. Even though it was "the top priority " to help us we never got the maintenance crew to clean the place and never got relocated. The bed was very uncomfortable, had to sleep on the couch. Made it a terrible vacation and will never consider booking a property with this place again.
