I paid this company to do an inspection on my new home purchase. It was completed. And I agreed on repairs with the home saler. The saler stated that things were repaired. Home inspection one stated that they saw the repairs and signed off on them. Come to find out they were never fixed correctly and wasn't inspected, but this company signed and said different. I recently noticed that these iusses are causing more problems now and lots more money! As a 100% disabled combat veteran I am very disappointed that I was taking advantage of. All Fellow veterans and local public please be advise to not trust this company. I have paper work, pictures etc. To back all this up.

I paid for a full inspection from Home Inspection One recently to decide whether to purchase a house, the report listed some minor issues but overall the house was in good shape. Upon moving in we discovered a litany of issues, including multiple leaks in the copper lines, puddles in the crawlspace, several hundred feet of corroded copper lines, and a support column in the crawlspace that physically doesn't reach the joist. As time went on we discovered the water pressure (under 50 PSI) was below the 60 PSI code. How any of this, particularly the leaking/heavily corroded pipes were missed is well beyond me. Their written report clearly states that these copper lines are "adequate" even though there are multiple leaks resulting in puddles in the crawlspace. I have reached out to Home Inspector One Senior staff, and while they have sent me a couple of emails they are clearly ignoring/skipping questions, taking days to respond to an email, and otherwise dragging their feet on attempting to come up with any resolution. They did send out an inspector who basically admitted that they messed up big time, but the staff at Home Inspection One has been completely non-responsive when I suggested assisting in paying a licensed plumber to fix it, and even when I reconsidered allowing their licensed plumber on staff to come by to provide the repipe I have still gotten nothing. I understand mistakes happen, but this goes beyond mistakes. It's gross negligence that is costing me many thousands that I don't have because I paid top dollar for a house based on their recommendations. If I can find these issues immediately after looking in the crawlspace, how a trained eye who does this for a living can miss them is beyond me. I would highly recommend you avoid Home One Inspectors if you want anything more than a cursory inspection of the cosmetic value of your house.
