1 starI hired Powell Roofing to replace my shingles January 2024..although the job was completed, I have not been able to contact the company to recheck the job because the roof still has a dip in several spots. Where are the sheets of plywood I paid for? Initially I waited until after the summer hoping the shingles needed to seal but no results. I had another contractor out to inspect and he noticed that the plywood was 4 inches away from the fascia..don't know much about roofs but what is the logic behind this. I have tried numerous times to call but now the mailbox is full. Personally I was impressed by the jobs done at my daughter's house and the other jobs on my street. Shame on me for hiring them and shame on me for paying my job in full. I was going to hire for siding but I have no respect for a company that can't even return phone calls or confront problems.Review fromcheryl L

5 starsDuring the last severe storm, I had one shingle that got blown off the roof. Naturally, it was way up high which negated the possibility of me fixing it myself (I'm old). I called to arrange an estimate and they asked if I could send a picture and describe what I wanted done. They called back and said they would send someone out to fix it with no charge. In today's environment, I was expecting to have to pay a ridiculous amount to fix one shingle. When I asked why they would do this they said that they would like to promote good customer relations and gain an opportunity for my needs down the road. Well, they certainly won my vote of confidence! The worker that came out was very friendly and efficient and had the job done in minutes. I highly recommend them!Review fromMary W

5 starsI recently had Powell Roofing replace my roof. I honestly can say I was in great hands from start to finish with replacing my roof. The roof crew was very professional and efficient. My yard was left immaculate and would not know a roof had been replaced that day. To find such a honest business like Powell Roofing is a rarity these days. From start to finish they worked in a very professional manner, very courteous, kept the jobsite clean and actually did more than I was expecting. I hired Powell Roofing to install vinyl siding. I soon realized I made a major mistake. The workers are not trained properly and rushed to finish the job. This has caused the vinyl siding to become loose and fall off the house. My light fixtures were installed by the same individuals who installed the siding causing electrical malfunctions and improper installation. Repeated attempts to contact James Powell to fix the problem has met with negative results.

When you reached out to us the very first time you did so using a different name. You did NOT use Stanley G******. The name you used did not show up in our database. If you would have used your REAL name Stanley G****** we would have found you in our system and would have sent our team out under a warranty claim. This is the same process we do for all customers. Powell Roofing stands behind our projects and our crews. If electrical issues were found to be true again we would have gladly sent out a licensed electrician to make repairs. You gave us less than a 24 hour time frame to have your issues rectified and under a false name. Your issues were never handles as a result of you choosing to use a different name. To this day I'm still not sure why you thought that was a bright idea. In closing again we would have sent a team out to make repairs on home and electrical if you would have reached out using your name and gave us an appropriate amount of time to make repairs. There is a process to warranty claims and they have to be followed. Sorry our process isn't to your standards. Best of luck to you Mr. G******.Review fromGeny M
