This business was referred to me on ******** for repairing a screen porch. The owner promptly contacted me faster than anyone else referred so I started communicating with him about scheduling the repairs. He set the time and said he would contact me when he was on the way. Having a newborn, I rearranged my schedule to make sure I could give him my attention upon his arrival. The day of the appointment I messaged him 10 minutes prior to make sure we were still good to go, rushing home from the pediatrician to meet him. 5 minutes prior to the appointment he tells me he's in a warehouse that doesn't get a good signal and that he's on his way to another appointment and would have to reschedule. I don't see his message until later in the day when all I know is he's a no show - like many other contractors we've been dealing with. When I message him back to explain why I couldn't reschedule, he immediately tells me I'm rude and that he has other business more important than mine. Clearly I understand things happen, but it's minutes til my scheduled appointment and he never reached out to me to tell me he wasn't coming. I rearranged my day to accommodate him, but he messages me immediately defensive saying I'm the inconsiderate one - and then blocking further communication with me - this is not someone I would want to do business with. I wasn't going to make a fuss about it but seeing as how he responded to me I felt like it needed to be reported.

I explained to this lady that I had an emergency call come in where a house was flooding due to busted pipes. I was not by my phone as I was covered in water and mud repairing the pipes that the countertop company has accidentally busted upon installation.

As any company we prioritize calls based on order of importance. She said she has had many contractors not come out to look at her screened porch and made excuses or didn't respond. Mine was a legitimate emergency and I felt we are not responsible for other contractors or their customers but our own. I did contact her before the appt at 11:00 a.m. (after I got back to my phone) in which I explained I could still keep our appt that day after I finished the emergency call in which she did not respond until late that afternoon.

I felt it was inconsiderate to not understand my circumstances and trying to help another customer with a flooding house and I feel it was spill over anger from the other contractors she has dealt with.
