On 3/15/2024 I was forced to purchase another vehicle within a year time frame from Chrysler Jeep Lugoff. I feel as if I would have did better off going to a Mom and Papa dealer for the treatment I've endured from a fortune 500 Chrysler dealer. First and foremost the sticker price was increased by 1k. The rebate was financed back into my loan. I was coherced to sign a document in agreement to a down payment that was later altered with an amount owed $1,500. The trade allowance was not fair for lemon sold with outstanding recalls. The figures from the Buyers order and contract are sketchy. When I sought full understanding from the finance officer he came off rude as if I was asking dumb questions. throwing himself back into his chair face palming and being real combative. He argued that I didn't purchase Gap insurance when he reluctantly searched the history. He fast talked to me and distracted me to see clearly the fallacy of the deal taking place. I told sale manager Colby I wasn't ready to close the deal, he continued pressuring me how they typically do. I expressed that I was not prepared for a down payment. I had recently purchased rims and wheels, I took a loss. When I told them I wanted to remove them for resell and replace them they told me it was too late. They lied about installing a IPOD on my dashboard when service team should have done before leaving. Spare tire was removed from the newly equipped car. I went to the local branch on 3/18/2024 PRIOR to the loan being funded in an dire attempt to renegotiate the terms of the contract I was told it was not an option via the General Manager. I was stuck with no means but to believe that to be true. The branch manager from Allsouth advised me that the dealer had to power to make it right, although she could clearly witness the loan had NOT been funded neither the payoff. My payoff remained pending while two loans were outstanding. Her facial expression confirmed that something was wrong with the contract/deal. I been upset with the dealer and the bank. Allsouth has advocated in my behalf as a faithful member. However my overall complaint is with Chrysler Jeep of Lugoff. The last conversation I encountered with the general manager, Casey he threatened to take legal action behind altered documents and alleged money owed for a down payment however his sales team allowed me to close on a new car valued at $41,509 overpriced the sticker of 35,000 again "marked" up another 1k dollars. When I solicited clarification of the figures he threw a lame response without the contract in front of him to review line 4j. He became short to deny the $3,000 odd dollar amount unexplainable, unjustifiable and illegitimately incurred cost/fees. In conclusion, I requested advertised $500 coupon to be applied- Denied Military discount -Denied Rebate initially was 4,020 then ironically increased to $4,420. It still dont make sense how come I ended up financing the figure amount of alleged rebate and down payment back into my loan causing me to be $6,000 more indebt.
