    Derreck R****** the owner of D.R. Fence Company provided us with an estimate on 5/11/21 of $3,350 to build a deck and replace a stair case. We accepted his offer and on 6/17/21 he finished building the deck and stair case. We asked about weatherproofing the deck and he stated that it was included with the price and he would be back sometime in about 30 days to do that. Shortly after that the stairs became "spongey" and when you walked down them they bounced. I mentioned that to him and kept asking him to come look at them, but it took until last year around September for him to come and fix the problem. At that time I asked again about weatherproofing the deck and he said he'd be back to do that. I have been in contact with him via ******** and phone calls for basically two years to have him complete the weatherproofing for me and now he's even stopped answering me at all. In the meantime on 10/13/21 my husband passed away, so now I am trying to get this done by myself. Since I'm getting nowhere with D****** I thought I might have you help me try to fix my problem. The deck is now over two years old without any kind of sealant or stain on it and it's getting worn out quick in the sun.
