The first car I test drove threw a serpentine belt upon engine ignition. The car I bought was 5,200. It had to be jump started for the test drive I was told because it’s been sitting so long the battery isn’t fully charged. I drove the car 30+ minutes home from Lyman to Blacksburg sc. The vehicle never crunk again. Upon calling the business I was told to take it to auto zone to figure out what was wrong, which led to the conclusion that the car has a bad alternator. The manager, Peter, told me that his mechanic ( Tire pro) also in Lyman, will replace the alternator but that I will be charged for the alternator and the service fee. They’ve had my vehicle for 2 weeks. Peter will not answer my calls, when I went to the business to speak face to face they closed for the day and refused to speak to me. So upon speaking to their mechanic ( tire pro ) I was told I was not the first but the 4th customer of peters who’s had issues with their vehicles and Peter giving them the run around. This place of business is an absolute joke and their ****** reviews shows it.

This customer drove the car for a few days before we heard a complaint so him driving it home and never cranking back up is a lie. The customer took the car to his mechanic before the sale happened and got a professional opinion and he came back and negotiated the price bc he made us aware it needs some work which wasn’t needed at the time but he wanted to do them. We told the customer we’d help him replace the alternator even tho it is working he wanted a new alternator so we said our mechanic can do it at a less price he agreed. It took a while to get the alternator replaced due to parts arriving late. Anyway the car was sold as is with no warranty purchased even tho we offered them a warranty. We didn’t need to save them money by having our mechanic replace it , but we did bc we care about our customers. They sign the AS IS , therefore this customer is not telling the truth whatsoever.
