    Matt did an inspection on my home for a buyer, everything was great before he showed up for the inspection. First of all he was supposed to be there on a Monday and he showed up on a Thursday, I was ready to call the cops when I saw someone in my house because he or the realtor did not notify us that they were coming Thursday instead of Monday. After he left, my heat or a/c did not work, and my stove and dryer did not work. He did come back and fix the heat before I came home from work, but now it is 4 days later and I still have no use of my stove or dryer. He was very defensive when he spoke to my realtor and said he did not do anything to cause them not to work. It is very strange that everything worked before he got there and after the inspection things did not work, it makes me think that he is trying to pull some kind of scam so he has things to put on the inspection report. I would not recommend him to anyone. I would give him 0 stars but it does not allow you do do that. He doesn't deserve 1 star.

    *****, the buyer's agent set the appointment for the home inspection. I showed up at the time I was given by the agent under the assumption that you were notified. I would never enter a home without prior approval. When you arrived, I identified myself and you gave permission to continue the home inspection. I am sorry that I was not made aware there was a conflict. The HVAC system functioned when I was at your home and you advised me to leave the system off, which I did. When you noted the system was not functioning later that day, I drove back out immediately, located the issue and it functioned again. The electric stove also functioned during the inspection, which you also used while I was there. When I returned to the home, it appeared the control panel had gone bad. As a home inspector, all I can do is note if the stove functioned. The dryer was not tested at the home inspection, as that is not part of the home inspection standards. I apologize that you had a bad experience, but my inspection of this home followed the State of South Carolina's Standard Procedures.
