On January 12, 2023 I visited Liquid Highway Carwash and received a carwash on my 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe. When the car was handed off to me upon completion of the exterior wash and interior cleaning I noticed large marks on the hood of the car that were not present before the was. When I confronted the staff (Don, I believe) he immediately became defensive and denied the damage could have been done by the carwash. However, he agreed to "buff out" the marks. That process removed much of the marking but some scratches remained deep enough to see bare metal. That Liquid employee then agreed to file a claim seeking repairs for the damage. On February 17, having heard nothing from the carwash, I hand delivered a quote for the repairs from a local body repair shop to an employee named Steve. I believe he is the owner. The staff has apparently been instructed to not reveal the name of the owner or his presence. The car damaged in this event was a one year old black Tahoe. The damage estimate is $836.52. I would like for Liquid to reimburse me for the damage as well as for reasonable rental car charges I will incur while the car is being repaired. Photos were taken by me and the Liquid staff member on the day of the damage.
