I am being charged for services dated 10/2023 which I have called twice and given them correct insurance information. My insurance co. has not received the bill (which I know they will pay). I then proceeded to write a letter and provided a copy of the insurance info. sending to Chas. Radiologist at PO box 116429, Atlanta, GA 30368-6429. I am still receiving e-mails, phone calls, and paper bills demanding payment. I have spoken to two people (who assured me that they had the correct information and would send to insurance) and sent a letter without any reply or resolve. I expect them to send the bill to the insurance company in order for my insurance to cover the cost, after all, this is why I have insurance.

Apologies for any billing issues you are having. Patient owes $95.50 but we will write this balance off so the patient will have $0 balance. I will make sure someone in billing notifies this patient that she will not be responsible to pay the $95.50.

    Thank you,

I was billed for 2 different medical bills. Both have been paid by my insurance company at the time of billing. The insurance company even has the paid invoice on file. Yet I keep getting texts and info saying I owe money for an already paid bill. I call to resolve the issue and they claim its fixed then text 2 weeks later saying I owe money.

    Good afternoon,

Please see attached file on our investigation regarding this matter.

I had Karen Y*****, our billing supervisor, follow up with UHC regarding this patient's claim.

Upon investigation, UHC confirmed that the patient has a responsibility to pay a balance of $121.52.

This patient was also sent to collections on 1/14/2020 regarding a prior balance that was never paid.

Thank you and please let me know if you need any additional information.

On July 20th 2022 I had prostate MRI at Imaging Specialist in Mount Pleasant, SC at 11 00 am. MRI was finished at 11 30 am and report was faxed to my fam doc at 11 52 am MRI report was done by MD who is not professional and who made at least 2 major mistakes on the report. He made this report like he told me per our phone conversation in like 15 minutes. I don't know anything about medical field, but I was able to find 2 major errors on his report and I will be looking for a 2nd opinion or 2nd MRI with another company. If I was able to find 2 major mistakes on his report than I assume the professional medical person would be able to find even more mistakes. I got a call from my family doctor at 13 59 pm on same day of my MRI scan and they told me that I have PI-RADS 5 and PI-RADS 4 and should ASAP go see urologist. I checked portal and read report which says that is LIKELY have aggressive prostate cancer (PI-RADS 4) and that is VERY LIKELY that I might have a very aggressive prostate cancer (PI-RADS 5) I was very upset and felt like I was dying. My blood pressure was 200/120 and I couldn't sleep eat and work for 48 hours. I didn't go to work Wednesday night and Thursday night and made appointment to see urologist on Friday morning. I would like to get 1061.00 dollars back from Imaging Specialist because I have found at least 2 major errors on their report. First error is about the size of my prostate. Their MD claims it is 87 cc when in really its 98 cc. The formula for measuring the prostate size is L x H x W x 0.52. so 5.9x5,6x5,7 = 188,328 and multiply by 0.52 equals 97.93 cc. This is a big difference between 87 cc and 98 cc by more than 12.5 percent Second error in the report: MD writes Within the posterior right peripheral zone of the BLADDER base a T2 hypointense area of a signal measuring 2.1 x 1.2 x 1.5 cm but in the CONCLUSION same MD writes that Large signal is located in the PROSTATE base. This is huge mistake about location of signal(lesion)

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/08/02) */ The patient, ****** ******, did have an MRI Prostate exam on 7/20/2022 which was dictated and signed off on by Dr. ******** who is a board-certified Radiologist. I had a lengthy discussion with Dr. ******** this morning regarding this case. Upon speaking with Dr. ********* there are no errors in the dictation of this report. The 2 "mistakes" referenced by the patient are the measurements of the prostate size and increased signals bladder base/prostate base. 1.) There are 2 formulas to measure the prostate. The patient used a different method than what our group of Radiologists use. Our board-certified Radiologists use a proven software called ******* to measure prostate size. This software improves confidence and accuracy which automatically generates a 3D gland segmentation. Dr. ******** is extremely confident in the accuracy of the size of the patient's prostate in his report. 2.) The second "mistake" in question was increased signal intensity in prostate/bladder base. The base of the bladder is the posterior-inferior part of the bladder while the base of the prostate is directed upward near the inferior surface of the bladder. Dr. ******** is confident in the wording of his report. The accuracy of this report was also verified by another Radiologist in our practice as well. Dr. ******** explained to Mr. ****** to get a second opinion if he so chooses but is confident in the accuracy of this dictation. The patient will not be refunded any amount because the services rendered at our location are diagnostically acceptable and accurate. Thank you. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/08/02) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) What such a weak and a lame response. About 1st mistake/error. It doesn't matter what formula was used or what software. The Answer should ALWAYS match because it basic MATHEMATHICS and that is why is called SCIENCE. About 2nd mistake/error Bladder base and prostate base are entirely two different locations on human's body and two different organs. Their Report's findings do not match their Conclusion statement. Therefore, It considers unprofessional and contradicting. Anyways, I have called my credit card company and I have disputed this transaction. So, it is now between Imaging Specialists and Wells Fargo credit card company. Any one of them could take me to the collection agency, but no one of them would ever get paid on this unprofessional work.
