After finding out that this lawfirm had received a check for $38,057.37 from a settlement I never agreed to being the medical bills I received are way different then what this lawfirm has stated. When I called to dispute an the issue I was told that they could only speak with my attorney witch I no longer had being the case was settled even though I never had agreed on anything being I was never contacted about anything regarding a settlement from an accident I was evolved in February 6,2023 it wasn't until the end of November 2023 when I was told to meet at ********** in town of ********** I was then told that after attorney fees an a $38,057.37 check that was sent to your lawfirm Newby ********************************************* I had got $10,000 check out of a ****** settlement then told I was lucky to get that, I then asked for copies an told I'd get them in the mail after a fee days I received the copies an in them were a letter from your lawfirm stating that I had an account balance of $56,802.04 then it states that Trident medical accepts $38,057.37 as payment in full for this account. After realizing that there had been some mistakes being I was only at the er for maybe 2 an 1/2 hours an that there was no way I owed that amount even after looking up medical codes it doesn't match also I never received most of what the papers state after comparing it to my husband's medical billing records being we were both transported to Trident that same day an had the same things done and there's a big difference in the billing such as thousands difference an being I was only there for approximately 3hr there was no way I owed that much. Please understand that I just want answers for the amount of money taken from my settlement an regarding the difference in the amount that's rightfully mine Please I trying in every way possible to keep from going on the news to report this witch I've already been asked if I would go on camera about all this witch I haven't gave an answer to yet.
