      I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the deceptive pricing practices and lack of follow-up I encountered at ************ Associates. The issue centers around a $39 fee for digital photo imaging. The office claims they do not offer traditional dilation services, yet their website clearly states that eye exams include dilation. This inconsistency is both misleading and deceptive. If a routine exam is not covered by insurance, it should be transparently disclosed upfront. Instead, the manager justified the fee by claiming that my insurance covers it and $39 is the allowed charge. However, upon reviewing the offices website, I found that $39 is the standard charge for the imaging, directly contradicting her explanation.Additionally, the office fails to clearly inform customers that it operates as an all-digital office, making the imaging test mandatory and subject to an additional fee not covered by insurance. I attempted to contact the ******** location directly, but my efforts were unsuccessful. I emailed the Coastal Grand sister office twice but received no response. I also contacted ************ customer service on two separate occasions. Both times, they assured me they would notify the store manager and provide my contact information along with my concerns. To date, I have received zero communication or follow-up from anyone at the company or *********** a result, I was unexpectedly charged $39 for my exam and an additional $39 for my husbands exama total of $78 that I was not prepared to pay. This deceptive practice, compounded by the complete lack of follow-up, undermines trust and causes significant frustration.I am seeking a full refund of the $39 charged per exam ($78 total) and an assurance that this business will implement clearer communication practices regarding its services and fees. Customers deserve transparency and responsiveness to make informed decisions about their care.Thank you for your attention to this matter.
