***** *** **** Non-completion of the contract. Responding to a knock on our door at around 11:00 AM, **** ***** introduced himself as a specialist in asphalt and concrete driveways. He offered his services to repair our tarmac driveway by filling the cracks before applying two coats of commercial-grade sealant. Mr. ***** painted our driveway with one coat of a black liquid that dried grey rather than the matt-black he had promised. At around 1:30 PM and having paid Mr. ***** (***** ****), he left with the promise of returning to complete the job the following morning, ***** *** ****. He needed to collect some material to fill the cracks before applying a second coat of sealant. Mr. ***** had cashed our check by 1:39 PM. Following attempts to contact Mr. *****, he has not returned to complete the contract as quoted. I have photographs available to authenticate the claim.

First of all his address that I have is******************************************** the guys name is Paul O*****. He and his nephew came knocking at my door and said they would repair my driveway, He sounded like an honest guy and I unfortunately believed him.. He told me the driveway would be dry by the next day and it would level off and the crevices would be filled. He also said it would be a nice black top color and it would look great. It's still not dry after a week. It's gray in color, it still has all the crevices snd and it looks worse than it did before they started, it looks horrible. He promised me he would come back And fix it. He still has not come back. I've called him multiple times. He will not answer my phone calls or return my calls. He knocks on doors sells people a line of lies and takes your money and you never hear from them again.

I was getting out of the shower when I heard someone knocking on my back door. I went to the window and asked what he wanted. He asked if he could seal coat my driveway and kill the moss. I told him to just leave a card and that I would be in touch. I called him on July ** to ask for his prices. He said he would do the moss and the seal coat for $900 and I said it was too high. Then he dropped the price to $700 and then again to $600. This was to include moss removal and seal coat layer for the driveway. He said he was in the vicinity and could be there within the hour. I came out and discussed with him what he was going to do and the price. His partner was blowing the leaves from the driveway. They were going to weed eat and spray the moss and grass and then put a seal coat. I went back in the house. His partner came to the door with his receipt book and I gave him a check for $600 and they left. I later went out and discovered rocks still showing through the asphalt and moss at the end of the driveway. I called and they came back and sprayed more sealant. They said I could drive on it in 3 hours. I left 18 hours later and made huge tire marks on the driveway and on the asphalt at my car port. I called them 5 times July *** My daughter called twice. She then called the company listed on the receipt. The man said they did not work with him or for him and had used his company name many times in scams. I talked to the sheriff of ************ attorney general's office, and South Carolina consumer affairs. A police report was filed with the city (Incident****XXXXXX) and I am now filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. *************** said that since it was paid by check it was legally binding and could not get my money back from them. I am seeking to get my $600 back. Check number was ******
