      Mixon Construction sold me a home in August of 2023, * months later in October of 2023 I had a leak in a pipe. I tried to call them as there is a 1 year builder warranty on the home but could not get a hold of any of the weekend nor first thing on Monday. The foreman did come to the home next door that Monday morning but we were not home and continued not to answer the phone. I did attempt to fix the pipe myself that weekend but did not have the proper glue and I have a toddler at home that does not need to be without water. I then called a licensed plumber who came out and completed the repairs for $533 once I was unable to get ahold of someone that Monday, while here they mentioned in the invoice that the proper pipes were not used and that the pipes were only buried at 6" and not 12" which is the freeze line in ** that they should be buried to. Therefore, they would only warranty the work for 30 days since the pipes were not up to standards. Days later I contacted Mixon Construction again and they told me they would have a licensed plumber replace all the pipes. About a week went by and no one was out to fix them, then another week the foreman and his crew showed up when I was not home and started doing the work themselves. They stated they could not get the plumber out and they assured that everything would be fixed properly. I asked them if I was going to be reimbursed for the bill of $533 since it was their faulty work that caused it. I have never been able to speak with the owner and according to the foreman the owner states they he will not pay it out and does not want to hear anything else about it. Since the beginning of the purchase of this home I have felt as though they have not been fully transparent and honest. I do not want others to continue purchasing homes from them if they are going to continue to operate their business the way they are. The lack of communication between everyone in the company is a huge problem along with short cuts in build.

      I purchased a home from Mixon Construction approximately a year ago and they haven’t honored the builders warranty for my property. I have water seeping through my back door when it rains due to the door not being installed correctly. I’ve been trying to get it fixed since last year but the builders won’t come out. Water has gotten under my floorboards overtime and I fear for mold eventually. Initially when I did have them looked at the door issue the foreman tried to blame the issue on me raising my concrete in back which was only about 4 inches even though when it rains water is splashing up to 2 feet on my door and eventually making it way down and seeping through the house. I think the guy expected me to accept his answer so he wouldn’t have to fix the problem. I also have an outlet not working which I was trying to get fixed around the same time as the door but I couldn’t get them to show up for that either. It’s been 6-9 months of me reaching out from time to time and still no support. I could really use some help with this. I believe the builders warranty expires tomorrow and I was told by someone to reach out to you all. Thank you. In the pictures attached you can see light showing at the bottom right and left side of the door. You can also see the small puddle which would turn into a big puddle if I didn’t have to constantly clean it up.
