      On Friday, March 22,2024, I took my Ford Escape to Jones Ford Quick Lane for an oil change. I was contacted by Keith Schlichting, Service Writer who said my brakes, pads and rotors needed replacement. I asked him to replace the brakes and pads, and only TURN then rotors. Keith informed that me FORD was not allowed to turn rotors any more. When I went to pick up my car, I asked another service writer why they were not allowed to turn rotors anymore, and he said that was not true and that this is a common practice they do daily. My car only has 78K miles on it, and he said that I was sold a service I did not need. He tried to contact the other service writer to clear up the question, but was not able to. He also tried to contact a manager but one was not available at time of pick up. He told me that he would have someone call me regarding the charges. After several attempts to reach a manager, I have yet to receive a call from anyone at the dealership.

      Jones Ford 100% engages in manipulative and unethical business practices. I was told at the time of dropping of my truck that the work would be covered by my warranty. They asked if there was anything else I wanted them to look at so I mentioned several minor things. They NEVER advised me they would charge me a diagnostic fee for EACH of these. Then they came back to say it was almost $2k to repair my seat heaters (along with some other incoherent responses to my other issues). I contacted the warranty company and they said they are covered and the dealership should not be trying to charge me for this. I then went to pick up my truck 2 hours after being told it was ready and it was not. They then would not release my truck until I paid over $400 in "diagnostic fees". I left multiple messages for the service manager who refused (and still refuses) to return my calls. I filed a complaint with BBB and they completely gaslit me, saying they "didn't know who I spoke to" at the warranty company (they did, I supplied BBB the email from them that was forwarded), that they have a "sign in their lobby" about diagnostic fee (maybe but I am looking the person in front me, not scanning location for evidence they are lying and who expects multiple fees?), and ignored my other complaints. Very seedy and unethical business practices. I know see multiple bad reviews on line with same kinds of complaints.
