I booked a weekend trip for July *****, 2024 for my birthday. I received notification that the office would be open when I arrived to get the keys and answer any questions I had. When I arrived the office was closed and I was instructed on how to use the lockbox to get the key to my room. Once I entered the room I immediately noticed the room was not as pictured and it had an awful smell. I attempted to contact the number that was left on the door and it went straight to voicemail several times. I went for a walk on the beach and when I returned there were roaches crawling on the bed, inside of the refrigerator and up the walls. I attempted again to reach out to the office but it went straight to voicemail again. I immediately booked at another hotel and left the property. I sent a message to the property via Airbnb and seen where the message was read but I still have not received a reply from anyone.

I don't know where to begin. Whoever owes this hotel needs to be reported. When we entered the hallways, I could not believe the smell and the trash on the floors, not to mention the infestation of cockroaches and bed bugs. I can't believe a hotel charging 274 a night, have people booking rooms online and they have to come to this. Now my family has to return home, strip down and take everything to the laundromat. We left for dinner and came back to cockroaches in the donut we purchased. The shower was filthy and the wall looked like it was going to cave in. I will never, ever stay at this h*** hole again and people neither should you. They need to refund my money back. SC, I'm disappointed that you guys do not do inspections because it's obvious this one was missed.

I had to cancel my reservation, around the 2nd week of May. The girls name was *******. On May 28th, $168.00 was taken out of my account. I have been calling every day since then. At different times of the day, and no one answers. I've even sent them an email. No response whatsoever. Thanks for your time.

Hello,I accidentally booked a hotel online yesterday while looking into things and planning for a trip. I immediately called ************ my credit card company, to inform them this was a mistake and to withhold payment. They were unable to do so because the merchant was already paid. I reached out to Hotels.com since that was the company this booking was made. Hotels.com and I have both been trying to call this hotel for the past 24 hrs with no answer. Hotels.com has been doing the best they can with no resolution either. Losing $624 to an accident is not in my budget. With that said, the lack of availability and communication with the hotel is unreasonable and sad. Due to my many failed attempts to reach them I read reviews online. It appears that everyone is having the same issue and their facility is infested with bed bugs and cockroaches. I need help! This business does not appear to be holding themselves to a respectful level regarding customer service and comfort for their actual guests.
