I joined total fitness and Medicare paid my fees a personal trainer was scheduled to meet with me because they said that they wanted everyone to meet with the personal trainer when they first start. He explained to me that he could work with me once a week for only $40 a session in the least I could commit to was it 12 week plan. I told him when I could probably manage the $40 a week but that I couldn't do any more than that. A few hours later my oldest son had a really bad car wreck and was seriously injured. He was out of work for 5 weeks and dependent upon me for trips to the doctor and then to work when he started going back to work. 3 weeks later he had surgery again and it's been out of work. I'm the only one he has that can help him. Initially I'd hoped that this was not going to be a long drawn out thing but things did not go as I had hoped. Shortly after all that started My mother got sick and I was at the hospital with her. So I finally told them that there was absolutely no way that I was going to have time to work out much less work with the personal trainer. I had to pay for two sessions up front and I told them they could just keep that money but that I was not able to pay anything else. I have not even been to the gym the first time to work out much less to meet with the personal trainer and they are texting me repeatedly wanting me to pay the remainder of the fees for a service I never even went back in to start. Yes I had agreed to do this before I knew that my life was going to turn upside down. I'm not in a habit of making commitment that I can't follow through but for them to continue to text me wanting money after I've explained the situation to them I find disgusting. How dare they prey on someone who in on disability and who has unforeseen family emergencies draining me both physically and financially It would be different if I had been able to attend any of the sessions or even work out once. I'm sorry I ever walked in this place.
