Date of service/invoice: 02/27/24 Invoice amount: $6,515.64/ Paid $5,548.07 *********** call was general planned maintenance to comply warranty requirements. There were no issues with compressor PRIOR to the servicing. The following day, the compressor bound up and filled all the lines with water and shut down operations. I did contact Atlas in the AM and had to chase them for a call back. They advised us to check a few things instead of offering to come out ASAP. I contacted them and told them it did NOT work and they then offered to send out a tech but didn't know when. I could not wait and honestly my confidence in their service came into question. I contacted another company and they came out immediately! They advised us that while Atlas Copco did NOT cause the problem they certainly SHOULD have caught the issue during the service call and had they followed ALL of the procedures to ensure proper flow of the drain pipe it would have been caught and at that time Atlas could have said this is extra, would you like it fixed but nothing was mentioned. There was also a oil leak left which was part of the service call and the tech must have seen this because he left a bunch of absorbent matting under the leak and we had to call someone to come out and fix it, at this point we definitely DID not have confidence in their work.We communicated this to Atlas and we only asked that they accept the debit for the amount it cost us to have another company to perform the service correctly. We debited them $616.62 for the drain clog repair and $350.96 to repair the oil leak that should have been caught during the oil change which is part of the planned maintenance. We did not charge back for loss of production, paying employees for the down time nor did we ask/seek it. ONLY what we had to pay to fix their failures.
