    On 7/2023 as a new customer I purchased several sets of scrubs, total paid was $ ****** I contacted the store about a refund because I did not take employment in which I purchased them for and I stated all tags still attached with receipt. Store employee told me they do not do refunds at all only exchanges within 7 days of purchase and told me it's on bottom of receipt. I explained I never looked at bottom of receipt because most businesses do refunds. Employee told me to send an email asking for refund. I sent the email and proof of purchase receipt. I did not hear anything from store so I emailed again today on 8/11/2023 about refund status and I received a reply back saying the employee asked owner of store about the refund and was told no refunds. I can not use the uniforms that are burgundy in color as required for employment with SCDC. I have no need for these uniforms and I need my money refunded I have no need to exchange uniforms as I do not need any uniforms. I have never known a store to not do a refund at all and it's also sneaky to put that on the very bottom of a receipt assuming customers will think to look there. Had I known the store does not do refunds I would not have shopped there and even during purchase I was never made aware of no refunds. I will be leaving a bad review on ****** page about this along with this complaint with the BBB.

    This business has an exchange only policy within 7 days of purchase w/ receipt and tags required.  Items must be in new condition (un-worn / un- laundered).  No exchanges allowed on closeout item and/or special orders.  There are multiple postings within the store that announces this policy and the exchange only policy is printed on every receipt that is given to the customer post-purchase.  Customers should never purchase items until they are sure they will need the items, or make timely exchanges in accordance with the posted exchange policy.  The BBB has no control, or input, on an individual business's return /exchange policy.  This business is considering an "all sales final" policy.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    It is not fair to me that the business not make an exception. I was sure I needed the uniforms and  had to purchase them not wait. Circumstances happen and I am struggling I can NOT afford to be out close to $ 200 for items with tags on them. The store runs a poor unfair business and are money hungry owners at a customer's expense. There is no good reason not to accept the return ! The owner has no empathy or understanding just wanting to take advantage of people who are struggling. I need the owner to make an exception and allow me to return items and issue a refund! It will not hurt the owner to be understanding for once and make an exception as nothing is made of stone the owner can allow a return if was a decent person/ business owner.
