    I made reservations for March 13-16,2023. I arrived on the 13th, checked in and paid in full for my stay. I proceeded to my cabin to unpack my luggage and get some rest, once I did that I started looking for the thermostat to turn the heat up, there was no thermostat so I went back to the office to report that I only had a window unit for heat, the lady in the office said no go back and look for the thermostat. She said all their cabins have central heating and air. I went back and looked again for the thermostat, well before I could go back and let her know, a man pulled up to the cabin and asked what was the problem. I told him about the lack of central heating and cooling and we were cold, he said everyone else wanted air yet we wanted heat, I then asked for a different cabin and he said not for the money you paid and I said I don’t care what it costs I need heat. Well then he said everything was booked up and for me to turn the stove on and open the door for more heat and he left. I had driven 4 hours there and gave them payment in full so we put on double layers of clothes and tried to get some sleep. As soon as it got light outside the next morning, we decided to check out as they were not giving me any options, so we checked out with no refund or apology and yes we have stayed there before with no problem. The owner didn’t seem concerned one way or another about the situation, how do you tell a paying customer to turn the oven on for heat ?? We had to cancel our fishing trip with a fishing guide, which we had paid a deposit on and lost that money too. We left feeling like we had been robbed and no we will never stay there again.
