    **Buyer beware** went in looking for a set that could handle comforters and told Jennifer(Toms wife)that. That was my only concern and didn’t mind paying extra if needed. Was sold a Maytag Bravos XL set. After calling to have Tom come out to look at the wash bc it started throwing error codes he informed me that I didn’t need to worry about the warranty time limit.. that he likes to take care of his customers. After multiple attempts to wash comforters and they came out dry and unwashed… I started looking up the serial numbers online. I was sold a regular sized W/D but paid for an XL version. Receipt and contract also says XL which is FALSE ADVERTISING. The old bait and switch. I reached out to tom again 2 months after purchasing only to be told I was outside of my warranty. He could have easily swapped out the set I bought for the set he had on site that is what I thought I paid for. But they don’t care once they have your money. They come off friendly and willing to actually help their customers but is quite the opposite. Now I’ll need to find another set that is what I was looking for originally.

    I still have your warranty paperwork on my desk. Tom offered to exchange the set for you when you called a couple weeks ago, even though you didn't contact us until well outside of your warranty timeframe. The only condition was you had to bring the one you chose back and pick up another set (including paying the difference in price if there is one) as we no longer have a capable person to bring the set up your stairs, which is not an unreasonable ask. I even have the text messages right in front of me with the conversation about that. You never came in to complete the exchange. The set you received is the set you came in and chose. We verified that with the model numbers. Your receipt also states the correct set name. The only mistake that was made was Jessica writing the wrong description on the warranty paperwork, but she is human and makes mistakes as well. Again, the model and serial numbers match to what you bought, and paid for. No one "bait and switched" you nor would we ever do that. The set you came in, looked over, chose, and paid for is the set you received. It is unfortunate that you felt the need to review us negatively, including blatant lies, when we were still willing to help you. We hope that you find what you're looking for. Since you edited your review after we responded, I’ll edit mine to include you aren’t paying for our mistakes. You got the exact set you came in and picked out and paid for and even well after your warranty was up, we still offered to exchange your set. All you had to do was come in and choose one. We apologize that you had a negative experience with us and wish you the best.

    I was very disappointed in their service. They certainly do not stand behind what they sell. Purchased a used washer from them and took it home and put it in and it does not work. The stainless steel tub hits the side of the washer and makes the most awful racket you have ever heard. My husband called and they told us if we wanted it serviced We would have to bring it back. It didn't work when we got it and they knew it. So now they want to charge me to fix the broken machine they sold me. We live in Walterboro so that is quite ride for us. I try to treat people right and I expect other people to do the same. I have never purchased used. I know that I won't do it again. Anyway if you're looking for used appliances this is not the place you want to shop. My rating of this company is 1 which I feel is more than is deserved.

    We are sorry you feel this way, however, we informed you prior to your purchase that we do not service the Walterboro area. We let you know that if service is needed, it would need to be brought back to our shop or a travel fee would need to be paid (as you bought a used washer and things do happen). You agreed to this prior to your purchase as you stated your husband works in North Charleston and it would not be an issue to bring it back, if needed. It was quite pleasant to interact with you both at the time. Unfortunately, things do happen outside of our control with these used units. We did not leave you with a broken unit, nor did we intentionally sell you a broken unit. We do thorough testing on all of our units prior to being sold, but again, things do happen. Even brand new ones can have issues. This is why we offer our warranty, which we 100% stand by. This covers parts and labor, and had you been local to us, we would have gladly sent our technician out to you for the repair. I apologize if you didn’t understand those terms when we discussed them prior to your purchase and your husband was kind enough to bring the washer back to be repaired over the weekend. We do still have the washer in our shop currently as of this response and are repairing the unit at no cost to you, as per our warranty. We will be in communication when it is ready to be picked up. We thank you for being a customer and hope to provide a more pleasant experience moving forward.
