I reported to the business Sunview in Summerville, SC and contractor associated with the business that my new roof started to leak on Saturday July 8, 2023 via email, text message and voice mail. We had a down pour of rain and the rain leaked into my home. No response. I called the contractor Eric Molton on Monday July 10, 2023. He questioned the expiration of my warranty which is in December 2923 (2 yr warranty.). He said he would send someone out to fix the leak. In his last text on July 10th he stated that one of his workers by the name of John would come to my home on Tuesday. He also text that he would come when I let him know that John did not show up. Today is Friday July 14 and I have not heard from Eric Molton . My floor and couch got wet from the leak. It is hurricane season and rains a lot. So contacted a roof repair service that came out to estimate the the damage. They saw some issues that indicated that the roof was not laid correctly. I am having them to fix that problem and I want to be reimbursed for the cost of the repair. I am also having to redo my floors that Eric Molton would not take responsibility for . I reported that the wood was popping up before the warranty expired. But Eric sent his workers after the 1 year warranty expired to look at the flooring. They would not fix the problem because they claim that it wasn't their fault. I had other contractors look at the floor and that stated that the floor was not laid correctly. That warranty has expired now . Now I have to pay to get my floor redone. I am a single senior citizen on a fixed income . I would like to be reimbursed for the repair of my roof.
