    On July 5 I paid Angel Maid Company of Sumter, SC $400 dollars to do a deep clean of my elderly, ill, US veteran father's home. The company took my money immediately through Venmo in order to book the service and then showed up to clean the home on Thursday, July 7. Upon returning home, my father's home was ransacked, the company did not clean, damaged areas of his home, and left the home is disarray. When I reached out to the company, they were slow to respond, could not produce the owner of the business, and have since stopped returning phone calls, emails, texts, or messages. I have contacted the Sumter SC Police Department and an attorney. The number now goes straight to voicemail.

    Business Response /* (1000, 16, 2022/08/23) */ On the morning of the cleaning client contacted the office to let the company know the house was different than described at booking via telephone call. Client declined to pay for additional cleaning services and told us to disregard what could not be done. After home cleaning was completed client attempted to get a refund because the extra cleaning she advise to disregard was not cleaned. Our staff cleaned her home as services she requested and paid for via online for the total hours paid for. Client declined free reclean when crew leader returned her call.
